"In MS Store download / install the app XBOX INSIDER HUB Logon with your MSFS/MS credentials Select Previews Join MSFS Beta/Preview, wait until your "application" was approved" Hi, Yes, I did what DAD said, and I have all updates installed (both in Windows and MSFS 2020). I joined the Xbox Insider too. Everything was all right just until the last step. When after going to the MS Store to update it began to install, then, suddenly, stopped. I don't know why. About to install the simulator on another drive: MSFS 2020 is now installed in disc C (MS Store folder by default). It is on a Samsung SSD 970 MVMe. I have another hard disc, but it is not an SSD disc, and it is rather old, so I don't think I should install right now Flight Simulator on that drive. I'm considering to buy another SSD to dedicate it exclusively to MSFS 2020. Perhaps for the next big update. Thank you.
December 6, 20214 yr Some nice and needed fixes in there. Wasn't expecting the colour banding to be addressed till next year!

With the convoluted installation of this Sim I can imagine all hell breaking loose even if you did have separate installs, think I'll pass! I have a Steam Premium Deluxe and a MS Store Standard and they work at the same time 🙂 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

That's what I'm doing now 🙂 Then you would end up with a double-installation of base files, Steam + MS Store, sharing the /Official and /Community folders, right? I once thought about that possibility, but was afraid to kill my properly working system.
