Just completed my first flight in the Public Beta and have a big smile on my face.😁

The should release this thing before the world update, preferably Asap.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Yeah, it seems they did a good job this time. Chapeau Asobo!

P.S. The youtube video shows a lot of color banding in the clouds but I swear that it's not there in the actual gameplay.

That video ^ looks great, also as someone mentioned the shimmering on objects looks to have been fixed too.

Well, it was nice while it lasted...the haze/fog level is back in the beta.  🤬

Could be that Asobo were messing with data on the server at that time. Either way, frustration/anger aimed at a beta build is misplaced; the aim of it is to detect issues, so report it via the official forum, in the correct area, following the guidelines, and include all flight information you can think of (as well as your PC details).

Looks like the cloud base is still intersecting the ground though.

These ominous clouds seem still pretty low.

I can't talk about other situations but in my case it was a rain curtain

I was flying between 2000 and 3000 ft.

If you look at the Antalya METAR now: https://en.allmetsat.com/metar-taf/turkey.php?icao=LTAI

Few clouds at a height of 2000 ft, Cumulonimbus.
Broken clouds at a height of 3000 ft

Clouds, especially live weather& clouds have negative impact on performance about 5-6 fps low.

I had clouds down to about 2000 ft with icing and that matched the real weather.

I think quite a few are mistaking rain curtains etc  as some form of weather error. all i can say is so far it's checked out , overall this is looking like a good stable update when fully released.
