All of you who have downloaded and reported here have literally just fired up the sim and acted as if you got VIP access to some official patch. Your JOB AS A BETA TESTER is to report to the correct point of contact issues you see with detailed responses and data. loading your favorite airplane at your favorite airport and just seeing what you see isn’t how this works. You actually need to have a specific purpose. honestly, asobo, don’t bother with avsim anymore. Its not worth it and having these members doing a beta test for you will net you absolutely no tangible data to work with. Because all the official beta testers did such a great job catching every bug before SU7's release... 😁 James David Walley Ryzen 7 7700X, 32 GB, RTX 3080

I don't think you understand how beta works. There was a beta. It was only 1 week and it was agreed that it would be use to take feedback and they wouldn't release any code fix for the release. But hey keep on bashing people who dedicated their free time to help the community instead of just venting like you are. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

I think it is more likely to affect you if you have the sim installed in the default location on the C:\ drive. Check this post for a bit more info - https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/pre-release-testing-su7-update-public-flight/ I have the sim installed on a different partition ( Steam - SSD ) I9 12900k@ 5 GHz | 64 GB DDR5 | Asus Z790 | RTX 5090 | 8K Samsung Q900C 75" | VKB MK III PRO L | Virpil Throttle MONGOOST-50 | MFG Crosswind | TrackIR5

When have we ever had to wait "4 - 6 months for the next sim update?" What sim are you talking about. This is Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) forum. I eagerly await your detailed anaysis. I suspect I'll be waiting a long time. No it won’t. I dont have the time to test the sim. I realize that my limited time will provide no gain to the development team. I made my point extremely clear. Why does my opinion bother you? Only problem with that is you need people to buy your products for that platform and it's becoming evident people are leaving en masse for MSFS, even with it in it's infancy. We won't have caught as many as we might have because the test was announced at the very last minute, so not everyone was able to commit time to it and ran for less than a week, but we did what we could.
