March 1, 20224 yr That looks great, Marc! Were you able to fix/improve the unrealistic mixture behavior of turbocharged piston engines in MSFS for the 414? Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
March 1, 20224 yr Woah, those fuel pumps with the switches in the forward position went buzzing right through my head ! Did I say this would be a day 1 purchase for me ? i take that back, it'll be day zero, and if I'm online when it drops it'll be hour zero !! Gary Lowndes
March 1, 20224 yr BTW the snippet 5 video mentions this 414A has TSIO-520-NB engines with a Ram IV conversion. Here's the page on Ram's website that tells you how much faster this makes the plane and how much better it climbs and how much more it can carry. The fuel capacity doesn't change from stock and the website conspicuously doesn't say anything about fuel consumption so I presume that's one area that it doesn't improve 🙂 Ram's performance page Edited March 1, 20224 yr by Chairman Gary Lowndes
March 1, 20224 yr Wow that sounds amazing! I can certainly see this becoming my go to twin. I love the attention to detail in the sounds. Sorry for the delay of the beta release.....Our original plan was to have an alternative panel with a dual GTN750. We did not get the full panel we wanted as we still do not have a G500/600 PFD. But we now can include the GTN 750 from PMS and TDS and even if you do not want to pay for these integrations PMS has a freeware version. So it was worth it to add a few more weeks. The GTN 750 will include a Garmin 605 autopilot and this thing is so complex and we are making it very realistic it's taking a bit of time. So i said it and let the secret out of the hat as this is something that everyone will want. Our next vid i will show the 2 new panels with the GTN 750 and the Garmin 605. This is the part where I take the blame for mentioning the TDS GTN Xi, increasing your workload and making amazing dual GTN's, with an incredibly realistic GFC605 autopilot lol. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 1, 20224 yr I'm looking forward to this. A 414 RAM sounds really interesting. i may have been living under a rock but I am not familiar with these add-on GTN gps for MSFS. If someone could post links I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

The TDS GTN Xi is similar to what we had in P3D (Flight1/RXP etc) - only a few 3d integrations for now but more are coming - like this C414 https://tdssim.com/gtnxivcintegration | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

PMS50 do a GTN750 (not the NXi) which is built from scratch so it's just a normal mod that sits in your community folder and doesn't need the trainer. It appears in the toolbar as a popup as well as on the panels that take a GTN so can be used on planes that don't have a gps. The free version is missing a few features but you can't beat the price, or you can pay an annual subscription and unlock some more bits. Most people use the free version. PMS50 GTN 750 page PMS50 also do an enhancement mod for the older Garmin units, the 530 and 430 (which you get on a lot of planes). It turns the default small gps into something seriously useful. It's not on their website, you have to get it from their github. Not many people seem to know about it - probably because you can only get it from the PMS50 github - but it's extremely awesome and everyone should have it.
