FLYSIMWARE Cessna 414AW Chancellor Snippet 1

Recommended Posts

I am well aware of that, I own many Carenados. I just don't see the top-notch texturing in the Flysimware yet, in comparison.

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, HP Reverb G2 VR headset @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Aeronautical Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

I would like to see proper interaction between throttles/prop leavers/mixtures/fuel flow. Also, will it have TCAS and WX radar is another question. it it have these things I'll probably buy.

For me the best piston twin for flight sim was the RealAir Duke - loved that machine.

If you want to compare texturing of something to Carenado texturing, then, you'll be disappointed in just about anything else.

Someone in this thread characterized Carenado texturing as "uber top-notch".  I think that's pretty accurate.

They’ve never been good in the texture department. Actually below the normal standard, even in p3d looks like fs9 stuff.

is this for FSX or MSFS? the window frames seem way too thick, the yoke reminds me of FSX graphics?

Pressurized cabin vs your non-pressurized Seneca... Needs thicker walls and thus window frames.

No offense but I've purchased and own a couple of their aircraft offerings over the years for FSX so I'm already quite familiar with their strong points as developers, as I've previously mentioned, as well as their not-so strong points, IMO.

My post was actually quite flattering so I don't see the need for you to be so defensive for I was merely agreeing with someone over an artistic perception.

No defensiveness in that post at all.

I think you are in the wrong thread... there is a Carenado Seneca V thread elsewhere. We get you don't like it, it doesn't get more real the more you say it!
