For me study level brings to mind something far more complex then that we see within MSFS2020, basically an entertainment product! You're over thinking things. "Study level" doesn't have an meaning that we all agree on, In flight sim terms, it really just means a hi-fidelity addon. Which is what PMDG has always provided. It's derived from 1990s gaming terminology: Study sim = sim including one aircraft. For example, Falcon 3.0 Survey sim = sim covering many aircraft. For example Jane's US Navy Fighters. The PMDGs would obviously fall under the "study sim" category. Now, people have variously changed and/or misunderstood the terms a great deal over the years. Maybe you think it means "sim you could use to study on as a pilot". Well, for some use cases you can. It's a lot more high tech than the cockpit familiarization posters many people use, and there are pilots and trainee pilots who use these products in a number of roles (typically not relating to flight characteristics per se). Anyway, I asked earlier if you had specific critiques of where the 737 falls short. Did you have a reply? I have used certain products to help me getting ready for recurent training for various scenarios. I suggest looking at Hotstart CL650, what an amazing product, the system depth is incredible in this product. (I understand this is not FS20 related but the question was about study level products)

To be frank, it doesn't matter what you think it means - I explained very clearly why the term 'study level' is used in the sim community. It is widely used and understood. In this very thread there are real world pilots who confirm how close to reality a product like the PMDG 737 actually is. You need to take a chill pill and use whatever term you want for a complex addon, but please stop criticising an excepted term in the sim community.
