May 9, 20224 yr If I were the one to decide the release, I would aim for 23:58, take a bowl of popcorn and watch the show in this thread the next few hours 🙂 Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

Its going to take some strong critical thinking skills to sift through them all. It will be worse than sifting through the news to find out whats actually true. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024

This product releasing today is being made out to be the release of a lifetime for MSFS2020. very funny when most don't grasp the concept that MSFS202 is designed for entertainment. It and the PMDG737 certainly don't convey anything "study level" in my world! A level D simulator would qualify and that's about it. I do agree that this is not the release of a life time. A big step for MSFS? Sure. But I do disagree that it’s not “study level”. It’s as study level as you want to make it. You do realize that most real life training sims are using P3D/Licensed FSX, right? Having done several training sessions in a Level D sim between multiple airframes, I can say the main difference between our at home sim + PMDG and the full motion Level D is literally the physical switches and buttons, and the feeling of flight from the motion. Flows are the same and systems work the same. Because of PMDG (and others), I had very little time spent familiarizing myself with the Level D, and it handles just about identical. On a different note, everyone’s gotta stop spam posting a countdown and other worthless posts… it’ll release anytime between now and 8 hours from now. Just check in silently every so often to see if it’s out. It’s not going to sell out or go anywhere… Edited May 9, 20224 yr by Hatch76 / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot

But Tavers painted one and it was featured on a Chewwy stream not long ago...Its stunning...but its from Tavers...no surprise there. 😉 He's on the PMDG beta test team as well. Let's hope he posts it as soon as it's released. I was going to paint one...but no need with his. 🙂 I'll be doing the old SAS on the -600 though.
