It looks just like the 737, because "All twins are the same" 🤣 Sorry Manny...could not resist, but you earned that one. 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

I am glad not having bought the 737-7 and after what I have seen is possible texture-wise in the Fenix, that what PMDG is providing us is not as good. If they don't polish the textures on the 737-8, I probably even won't buy that and be happy with the A320 or buy another middle-range aircraft. Even system-wise the I have the impression fenix is superior. If Fenix is providing what they promise at this price range - and I really hope their plan works out - it will be a gamer changer for the flightsim community. PS: To say something good about the PMDG, to not being mean: I really like the cockpit lighting at night; that looks stunning, but at day light I couldn't enjoy it probably. I need to correct myself, don't want to be unfair. I just figured out that the cockpit textures on daylight and CAVOK conditions might be a issue within MSFS. I am just watching the stream by edwardthepilot and he mentioned the same that it looks much the pmdg cockpit looks much better when while couldy weather. Maybe Asobo need to unjust the brightness of the sim in that certain situation. However, I stick to my overall conclution: so far according to the pictures Fenix looks more convincing; despite the internal msfs color/brightness issues. Maybe it's just as the real thing, and the 737 looks that ungly like as real life.

Pmdg has contributed immensly to our hobby and makes great products. The fenix a320 looks amazing and im sure it will be, ill be buying it for sure and it will sit happily in my hanger next to my 737. Absoultley true. As far as im concerned its great developers like PMDG that made this hobby what it is toay. Without them, we wouldnt have any where near the planes, scenery or even better platforms to do what we all love to do-fly. PMDG deserves much gratitiude, indeed. Peter Osborn
May 15, 20224 yr I like PMDG! As a company. I trust them fully! I read the negatives and just pass by. I trust they give us 737 (already did), then 777 and then 747. They have achieved it! I've been buying their aircrafts since FS9. I am yet to see the Airbus! Great hopes for Fenix. Edited May 15, 20224 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 15, 20224 yr Wow 15,000+ views already on the small new ADI caging video clip on YT ... I like the top comment that captures the significance of these 12 seconds nicely:And with these 12 seconds, we are taken to a new level of flight simulation. I lecture in VFX, and we will be discussing these 12 seconds at length, there is so much going on, both audio and visual. It is really easy to make wonderful materials, but to seat them in-engine, alongside other materials, and get the wear accumulation, direction, and location, as well as the type of wear and gunk build-up is really hard. Even with good reference, it's a demanding process if you want to push the realism. Most devs aren't even bothering to mix up screw head orientation, and Fenix are out there considering screw depth and wear on the screw drive, just crazy. The text is seated in the materials so well, and the button lighting is spot on, just wow, and the backlight bleed on the panels, *******. Really can't wait for more in-depth videos from reviewers/beta-testers/streamers... hopefully Fenix themselves will put out more videos either in tutorial or feature deep-dive form before and after release.
