That part is true - however I'm in a different stage of life than many here... kids kids kids - hardly any time to fly... so I have been picking up the Carenado birds etc. IDK - piston singles are just everywhere. However it makes sense for them to start with something they already had for P3D. I just hope to see a twin like an analogue Baron TC or Aerostar eventually. 45 minutes ago, lwt1971 said: (aside: I see here a certain 3rd party dev CEO is at it with his usual comical attempts to bash MSFS 🙂 ) Ah yes... I guess us real pilots who use MSFS are just the exception haha? I'm an active real world pilot flying piston singles and MSFS has been so much more accurate in terms of feeling of flight and scenery depiction (compared to previous sims). It could use a bit better cloud depiction though. June 22, 20223 yr I for one, can't wait, loved it in P3D and will definitely add it to the hangar here to. I can only imagine it will be another excellent add-on for my group. I've had numerous birds from them in the past and hope eventually they will provide the T6 Texan again too. That bunch will always have my support. June 22, 20223 yr Controversial perhaps, but I'd have loved to see an invigorated rebuild of their C182 come first - because the 182 is such a GA staple, and the Carenado version is.... pretty meh. But of course, I'll pick up their Comanche on day 1 because, as others have said, we're actually quite short of high end GA singles, that aren't default aircrat, are not LSAs and aren't vintage or military aircraft. I think most of the major 3rd party airplane developers have already come out with a product for MSFS, or are currently in progress of making a product for MSFS. There are a few major 3rd party devs that haven't announced a product for MSFS, but you can count them on one hand, and most of the well known 3rd party devs have made, or are already making a product for MSFS (ie. PMDG, Just Flight, Milviz, Leonardo, iniBuilds, FSLabs, A2A, TDFi, Aerosoft, Carenado, etc). It will be interesting when A2A brings their other line of planes to MSFS, after the Comanche. Missing in action, Flysimware. It's just not in the 'etc.' group (hopefully 🙂 ) Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
June 22, 20223 yr It will be interesting to see what they are bringing to the table at this point. They were once head and shoulders above the rest. But are they still? I don't know. Other companies have come out with some really great products of late, some, like the Milviz C310, that have a lot of features that used to be limited to A2A in the past. Many of those companies are now on their second or third offerings for MSFS with the experience and user feedback that includes. Personally, the A2A brand alone isn't going to make it an automatic purchase for me anymore, as it once would have. I'm going to need to be convinced that there are real upgrades from some of the quality aircraft I'm loving in my hanger currently.

June 22, 20223 yr It must be closer than some of them have stated. Historically, A2A doesn't spend 1/2 to 1 year yanking peoples chains in order to get people interested, as some tend to do. When they start talking about it, it's on the way. June 22, 20223 yr It's going to be hard to get me away from the H-Jet, but I'm happy that they are finally coming to MSFS. MSFS

But then again they haven't gone this long between releases before, nor have they gone almost completely silent with substantive progress updates for almost 2 years before. Past history may not offer much guidance at this point.
June 22, 20223 yr If it comes close to being as innovative as its ESP versions, with as good a flight model, it'll be an absolute no-brainer purchase. The ESP version of the A2A Comanche was - and still is - the best GA add-on aeroplane you could get for FSX/P3D, by a country mile. Nothing else comes anywhere near to being as good as it. It's in a league of its own. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
