Oh wow excellent!

I also did not partake in the beta....  too scary after one of the others nearly wiped my install hehe.

Me either, I would rather wait in place of reinstalling MSFS,

Just rename your official folder and then uninstall the MSFS Beta...wait till the release drops, rename the official to "official" again...install the released version and point to the same location.

Works like a charm

Ended up having to do this anyway as setting the local Cache and forgetting to turn it off before exiting the sim hosed my whole install. Learned allot about the painless effort of a reinstall.  As long as you move your community folder and reinstall in the same location it's painless getting it back up.  The FSX days are long gone (thankfully).

Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

Finally, the beta has dragged on for too long with very little extra happening recently, guess they've been waiting for the nVidia driver to fix the DX12 issues. Overall it's a fairly decent update, been using it so long I forget the highlights!

Fantastic news!
Although the beta felt like it dragged on for a very loooong time, I'm very glad that Asobo listened to the community response from previous betas and held off releasing it before significant issues were resolved.

I reckon we'll see a flurry of developer releases following SU10's release.

Wow, you are complimenting a Sim Update? Huh, I didn't expect that.

It must be a decent Sim Update if you are complimenting it, ROFL 🤣

I bet there will be some updates released too.

Unless they've gone completely cowboy on the source code after the last beta release this should be a clear winner. Great work Jörg & Team Asobo.

A great example of MSFS's realistic lighting, atmosphere, weather, etc on display in this SU10 video on reddit

Well they have totally ignored a UI regression bug since the very beginning of the beta so there's that 😉

Yep overall it's just fine, that's not to say it's perfect though, as ever communication during the beta has been woeful and some obvious bugs have still gone ignored but hey ho can't please everyone 🙂
