It's literally the first post of the thread.

I agree that the XP12 weather graphics are not as realistic looking as those in MSFS but I was too busy trying to escape from a spin after testing the stalling behaviour in the 172.

I

172 doesn't spin easily, but if it does recovers from incipient spin without any problem. I know Laminar has own CFI on stuff, and he could have told them. But after short conversation with him online I realize he had little on no dual time - just rating and big attitude LOL

wondering why I still see nothing on official MS forums except the posted FB message. TBO I almost forgot after all these months how to properly prepare my rig for the final SU10. Do I need to leave the beta actively before the final build is released. Or shall I just remain in the beta and wait until the final build of SU10 drops?

I forgot also. Yesterday I checked the official forums, and the consensus seems to be that you leave the beta AFTER SU10 is released.

but take into account that for each +1 font size you need to add 1 hour, e.g. 4 hours

You have to work to spin a C 172, if recall correctly. The C152 on the other hand, you better be careful with the rudder in a stall, or over you go.....

I wonder what the update procedure will be this time, start X box app, or got to MS Store, or just start up MSFS..Seems like it is always different.

found now some semi official advice at https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/tips-for-those-who-have-ms-store-version-of-msfs-when-leaving-the-beta/542895

so wait until the final build is live, THEN opt out of the beta and THEN update via MS Store (obviously valid for Store users). Since I have a custom install path this should be all. time will tell 😉
