Option to "Sleep" instead of just "Shutdown" or "Restart" no longer available in my Win 11 - that's something I noticed after installing this update ...

 a different story for those using the NVIDIA GPUs.

Title is still inaccurate.

for some people it appears to turn hags back on

People need to settle down thinking OP is the only one with the problem, it's a fairly widespread issue and there's a potential workaround included here;

Sigh, it’s frustrating how MS keeps releasing beta tested software with bugs. Like with SU10 and the “graphics device” crash that so many are reporting now. This was discovered two weeks ago in beta .18, widely reported in the beta forums. And still…

I agree if the (OP) was doing a specific test to a specific card brand, but he noticed a none normal issue induced after a specific action he did which was updating to Windows 11 22H2, therefore we should be thankful to any person who does alert his fellow simmers of a potential wide spread problem (unknown to him at that moment that it was related to certain video card brand ).

Can anyone tell me any advantage -- a single one -- afforded by Windows 11, other than "you have to update because Windows 10 is being phased out"? I have seen reports from some folks that it works fine, but how is it actually better than Win 10? (Note also that the announcement says that some features of Windows 10 are not available in Windows 11).

I noticed that they are now having pop ups trying to convince people to install W 11, because many including myself, don't like it as well as W 10. I am staying on W10 until the last day possible in 2025.

What i can tell you is that my CTD with W11 almost never happen compared with W10 no idea why though, plus i just like the simplicity of 11 easier to get rid of MS bloat

Bob - I'm surprised you're not still running Windows 95 and using Diamond Monster 3D graphics drivers.

Windows 11 is word not allowed. We have it on two computers  at work, and everyone avoids using them.
