According to this you should be seeing takeoffs soon, because there are many aircraft in preflight status. You didn't see any takeoff yet?

Saw one so far (finally), first take off I've ever seen. So I guess it's working, but traffic is unrealistically slow and sparse.
OK, saw a landing, it was a GA Generic, lol.

You can try IFR 150 if you want more traffic, but your FPS will probably go down the drain, lol.

It's the E-Jets. Without it the x% lows are much higher hence less stuttering. I'll continue using the FSLTL injector without the E-Jets.

Welp...even after downsizing EJets models to 1024s the addon overall just causes stuttering issues with FSLTL, even if no E-Jet models are spawned.

Oh well tossing it out now...

Same. That was $$ down the drain.

Maybe you could report the issue on their Discord. Perhaps they can fix it. I didn't notice any problem yet, will have to test more.

Sure, I'll do that.

Cool, had an Allegiant take off from SLC, nice livery too.

I'm a real fan of the FSLTL project - great for the community...

but, the FSLTL Base Models with the E-Jet AI packages just work so darn well in SU11 Beta - with heaps of arrivals & departures - using the PSXT & RealTraffic (subscription) combo - just works a treat & best AI that I've had,

particularly like checking out RW heavy AI movements at places like FeelThere KLAX & all the major international airports,

even on a fast rig - it was best to dial down the depth of PSXT live aircraft setting to keep good Main Thread CPU performance,

overall, Excellent AI at last - & very easy to install... 🙂

"fix FPS"?  Maybe, but it depends what you mean by fix.  What the Texture Optimizer does is allow you to reduce the size of the textures and convert them into a format that allows easier and more direct processing by the GPU.  Both of those distinct pieces are important in reducing system utilization for AI.  This should lower VRAM usage and some GPU cycles, but it is very dependent on how many AI you have, what the original packages contained, your own system, etc.  You may or may not see an FPS increase.

Gave this tool a shot last night. Good instructions! Ran the update @ 2048. Results look fine. It did not help fps much but good to know the textures use less VRAM. I think the ground performance with SU11 is supposed to be improved, so waiting for that.

As per my previous message, if FSLTL update the models, we need to blow away the models, everything, reinstall all models with FBW installer and rerun the texture converter?

I wouldn't think reducing VRAM is going to help much on FPS unless you have a lower-end system, but it might help a little I guess.
Not sure why anyone with a 24GB Vram would bother reducing textures, but I would be interested to see someone's FPS results after the reduction compared to before.

Someone in the SU11 beta can test this right now. According to the developers, the present beta will be turned into SU11 release on 11 Nov unmodified

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/su11-beta-news-oct-28th-2022/552878

So don't expect any miracle to happen between today and 11 Nov. I am in the beta myself but lack the time for the kind of detailed tests required.

KInd regards, Michael

But - it's a bit of a headache trying to add what's not there in FSLTL.

I can't see a good reason to do that, unless one very badly wants the little extras provided by the FSLTL liveries. From day one I have been using exclusively AIG's planes (I have all available AIG liveries) and I have yet to see a blank livery, I never downloaded the FSLTL liveries and only use their traffic injector.

I am much more annoyed by the lack of accuracy of the planes parked at the gates however. At LSGG in particular, I either see up to four TAP airplanes (there is never more than one at any time), and this morning I had four Emirates 777 (never more than one either!!! That certainly destroys the immersion if you are familiar to that airport.

This is why I tend to go back to AIG off line injector most of the time.

I think you need to re-read that post, because it says the opposite.

" the current flight build (which only contains SU11 content) will not be the same build released to the general public on November 11, 2022."

I may have misunderstood this, but I (and some others) gained they will add helis, gliders, and stuff, but not do any further modifications on the SU 11 contents. I can hardly imagine them releasing another beta on, say 2 Nov, collecting issues and amending them within 9 days, but we'll see.

Hope you're right, though😉
