I suspect Microsoft to have a strong influence on release dates. For all we know, many employees at Asobo could be deeply frustrated that they could not spend longer on WU11.

I haven't done it yet, as I had only two flights - one around the Vancouver area and the other one from Pearson Intl to Billy Bishop. I want to check out these mesh errors that people are talking about. 

Note: They had similar polls in the SU10 beta process, and the results were visible for everyone. This time, results are only shown to staff members. There's 463 replies in the poll thread which I haven't read (I can barely keep up with Avsim nowadays, lol). 

I think i will wait to see if someone can doctor up this World Update before i install it. I've already installed one terrible WU one would think from the feedback that they got about how terrible London looked they would pause before releasing a degraded Vancouver/Toronto + mesh anomalies but i guess not. 

I noticed someone had the World update installed with a proper looking CN tower. What addon did they buy and did it cover the rest of Metro Toronto ?

You can delete the new photogrammetry from the content manager after installing the WU.

And the mesh anomalies outside of the photogrammetry are part of the base sim, so avoiding downloading the WU isn't going to prevent those.

Maybe 3rd party mesh can help here. I have BC and Vancouver Island mesh installed. Do you have some specific locations in these areas where those mesh anomalies are prominent?

I did a quick flight after the update yesterday evening from CYTZ and downtown TO looked awful, like something from a zombie wasteland. I have 500mb internet yet none of the scenery semed to load properly. I think I am just going to turn photogrammetry off again.  

Just flew over Montreal, the PG looked horrid but the surrounding areas were ok.

I stated that in a following post. However, if you look at the first of my 2 screenshot posts, the first enlarged shot still shows a good CN Tower, yet if you look at CYTZ in the distance, you can see it is the default one:

All add-ons were deactivated.

The remarks on the Canada update are disappointing. I hope MSFS fixes the shortcomings promptly. I have it installed and, so far, not inclined to fly there.

I'm a Canadian and I think it's fine. All the landmarks I looked at look great, and all 5 airports are very well made.

Overall though I’m actually pretty happy.  It’s sucks that the PG in Vancouver and Toronto is not good but beyond that I’m happy with what we got.  Probably biased as I’m still mesmerized by my hometown having decent PG.

Being from Nova Scotia, I was happy with the Halifax landmarks they added, and the photogrammetry.

I managed to land the H145 right beside the Peggy’s cove lighthouse.  It looks great and you can even make out the sign warning tourists to stay off the rocks.

Is Roman's GTA package working after the World Update? I actually removed it thinking it might conflict with the update and I have not put it back in yet. But if there are no conflicts that is a good solution for me.
