October 1, 20223 yr Seems that Montréal got the attention that Vancouver missed out on. Great PG, great bridges and great POIs - Biosphère, Croix du Mont-Royal, Biodome, Olympic Stadium. I thought the city and the surrounding area looked quite excellent. Edited October 1, 20223 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
October 2, 20223 yr Habitat 67 is sinking 2/3 into the ground, I reported it on the forums, so hopefully it's noticed.
October 2, 20223 yr Slightly off topic, but just wondering... Has Asobo said anything about a third world update for the US? Edited October 2, 20223 yr by Alpine Scenery AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

Unfortunately, it is not possible to only uninstall Vancouver and Toronto alone but keep the other PG cities. BUT, @Bert Pieke pointed to a brilliant way to use Addons linker to enable/disable world update PG (or anything in the Official folder for that matter). So if your planning a flight to Montreal, enable Canada PG first, whereas with Vancouver and Toronto you’d probably leave it disabled. PG of Vancouver before WU11 was more or less fine. If you exclude, it would be excluded totally, not excluding the WU11 PG only? - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

If you exclude, it would be excluded totally, not excluding the WU11 PG only? I've never tried, but there is a force detection you can overlay after excluding. Not sure if it works, but the easier solution Captain Piett posted. If you can locate the old PG files that point to the server files, they may still work unless MS disabled it from the server side (not sure). Harry, is the bad something that people not familiar w/ Van and Toronto wouldn't notice, or is it just melted buildings or something like that that anyone can notice? Suppose they don't actually look at stuff? even after being told, until way after the fact .. or they don't really look at it until the )*()%%^& hits the fan!! We have not idea their staff levels, but suspect they were much less during the summer. Like why try to design updates in the peak of the summer and with limited staff? Or they released the product anyways cause they were told by their bosses to at least fulfill the time line or release commitment and then fix it later. Like I really don't understand, Niagara Falls and the Niagara Area, one of our biggest attractions, world renowned, still poor. Our three largest cities and other most visited cities, (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, (Ottawa, Calgary, Victoria, and more) all worse after the wu11 update as far as the PG and terrain elevations are concerned. Also many areas of the mountains, rivers now have worse elevations than pre-wu11.. Why is this? still begs an answer to that question. Just feel sorry for all those 3rd party freeware devs out there trying to assist by fixing the bad things this update has caused: from building a new CN Tower as a POI/Landmark to water/vegetation issues in almost every big city and trying to rework airports to fix new abnormalities in the terrain! I really don't get it at all. Most would never have released this as it was. Anyways enough said, this update is of poorest quality, (perhaps with the one exception being the city of Edmonton), In any event, WU11 has been removed from my sim and will remain that way until such time that it is redone. In the mean time will run pre-wu11 PG which is much better than with WU11.
