I contacted support, hope to get a fast solution.

The new throttle uses (L:ENGINE_Lever_Power_1, Percent), which has a range from -100% (full reverse) to +100% (full power). Throttle was tested using default MSFS assignments (no SPAD/FSUIPC/AAO) and worked fine. What the custom code does is that it intercepts the default throttle events (AXIS_THROTTLE_SET is one, for example) and feeds it into that variable which is then used to control the engine.

Some of our testers were able to set it SPAD.NEXT, I will ask what they did and add it to our FAQ/Known issues so you guys can find it when needed. I will keep you posted.

Update: Customers who already bought the wheeled variant will be able to claim a 5€ discount later today, by logging into their SWS account and looking at the "Special Offers" window, as shown in the pictures below. The discount code is currently not visible due to a CRM problem that we are working on and will have fixed within the day.

The Amphibian Kodiak has also been supplied to Orbx, SIMMARKET, Just Flight, FlightSim.com store,Contrail, iniBuilds and Microsoft. The product will be made available by each store as soon as they can. Regarding discounts from the other shops, please contact your preferred vendor directly about how to claim the discounted price.

Unfortunately, the discount offer is not available in the Marketplace as it is not supported by their system.

 

 

 

Too late for me...

I bought the Amphibian without claiming the discount, allthough I own the Wheeled version.

Too balance this, I will drink a six pack of Beer less this evening - maybe my landings will improve doing so 😏

Seriously and it is not the money, this sort of thing leaves a bad feeling.   I will most likely buy it when it gets there but may be an idea for developers to make some suggestions that where we buy should not make a difference.

Really! You know what's going to happen and you're going to go that route again? The Kodiak is available elsewhere, including directly from the SWS. All those seem to be offering the discount on the amphibian model.

Amphibian model is available on Orbx and the discount for owning the wheeled version was automatically applied. Purchased.

Still waiting for Just Flight to join the party. 

I don't care bought without the code - they can have the extra 5 bucks for an awesome product!

Me too and I would have paid more. I would like the update for the wheeled version though. I noticed that it asked me when I installed it if it was standalone or an addon to the wheeled. Given that I can't update the wheeled version yet I've had to install this as a standalone version at 3.48 GB. Presumably it would be less otherwise.

It looks like it uses shared files from the wheeled version so, yes, I would update that first if you can. Or install it as the standalone if you have no worries about space. 

Has the wheeled version been updated? Because it needs to be. I can't see any patch for it?
