The timeline pretty much went out the window for the 900. It’s anybody’s guess on when it will release.

Honestly if PMDG say a release timeline add a couple of months on to it.

1.  It's not full power, or almost full power.

2.  Yes, it's an aggressive response to an underspeed situation - that you, as the pilot, allowed to develop.  The autothrottles are in "arm" for a reason at that point: so you can be a pilot, and position them where they need to be.  If you fail to do your job, the aircraft will eventually fix it for you.

3.  Yes, the real airplane does behave this way.

And that summarizes 90% of the complaints against PMDG products: people just don't understand the sim plane is doing what it should be.  Are there still a few areas to improve?  Absolutely.  Is the 737 already the best-simulated airliner in MSFS though?  Yup.

I'm still waiting for Chevrolet to upgrade the engine on my 2015 Malibu. I've nearly given up on them at this point. I used to really like them too.

Does anybody have some specific documentation of when the 777 will be released   Sure their are tons of rumors but show me something on paper. Still waiting for the PMDG 737-900, Uh!

No. No one. Not even PMDG, I'm willing to bet. The old...."It's ready when it's ready" comes to mind. Which is fine by me. If I was a betting man, though - which I'm not - my guess would be within the next 6-8 months. And that really is just a guess based on being a PMDG customer for around 20 years. Whenever it comes, it will have been worth the wait. As everything else they have ever released.

Which explains the waiting time.

That is and was since FS 2000 !!

Thats the time i started with Flightsimulation and since there it was always like this, annoying !!

It's not just PMDG.  JustFlight announced their Piper Tomahawk in September 28, 2021, and it's coming up on 1.5 years in development.  A piston single.

Another factor is, we have more flight sim coders in Ukraine or Russia than we sometimes realize who are presently in unfortunate circumstances.  They might be subject to sanctions or simply cannot work or communicate consistently in their present conditions.

The bits are made in every corner of the world and shipped in, whoever thought that would be a good idea?

But yes this sim has a large 787 shaped hole in it at the moment, there’s definitely the demand for one.

PMDG has partnered with Boeing for many years with their Boeing products. To the point where they don't have to mention it. The that fact they explicitly said they are working with another party with the 787 made me think they could be working with another developer and not just Boeing.

It's not really clear if they just meant Boeing or an actual developer who has made them in flight sim but I would highly expect he does mean Boeing. But Robert did make it clear on PMDG forums when someone suggested are PMDG absorbing QualityWings and said: "That would indeed be wildly inaccurate."
