I think a 7800X3D (or 13600K/13700K) + 4090 would be a nice plateau to sit on for the next 2 years. I mean I can't see anything coming out in the next year that would make me want to upgrade from that. Raytracing? I'm covered, if they expand on that in the sim. January 31, 20233 yr As I have both a 3090 (left view pc ) and 4090 (front view pc ). if you use settings that allow you to stay safely above 30 fps ( 50% vsync /60 hertz ) than a 3090 is a very good card. Wait, do I need to use G-SYNC to avoid tearing? I've got a coulpe of 50" TV's I wanted to use with a 4090. With my 3090 I just limit frames with VSYNC.
