Everything looks OK except when I try to input my Departure and Arrival SIDS & STARS. The SID can be entered, no problem but my arrival EGHI does not show in the flight plan. Did you export using the new ATR format available in Simbrief? That sounds like what happens with the Aerosoft format…destination airport missing. May 1, 20233 yr Well, I like this. I like this a lot 🙂 Yes - it is absolutely ridiculous that there is no documentation at all. But, amongst others, the 7off short and succinct tutorial episodes on the Microsoft Flight Simulation Youtube Channel are amongst the best to date. Low on waffle and high on essential detail. But the modelling is pretty good - and the flight systems are quite interestingly different to other aircraft I've flown. Successfully achieved a number of flights and all has behaved impeccably, from VNAV to ILS down to touchdown. And the power of the reverse prop on touchdown is awesome! May 1, 20233 yr I just setup a simple manual FP, Depart to Arrival (EIDW/EGHI) and in that format I now have both the Departure and Arrival data. But I will retry using your workaround on the last waypoint when loading a FP from Simbrief. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

Haven't checked the actual runway distance against spec, but based on being a passenger once when the pilot had to drop the anchors, I would say yes... May 1, 20233 yr Commercial Member You guys think we should get an update soon for the ATR? I feel like MS released updates pretty quickly for the A310. I do hope so - Maybe we could get lucky and an update out on Thursday when they normally do a marketplace update. I suppose it really depends how quick they can fix some of these bugs. If the former, the missing arrival airport is a bug, you can workaround it by clicking the left LSK on the last waypoint and then click on "arrival". If the latter, then did the error already appear on entering "EIDW/EGHI" on the init page? Yes, your "workaround" works perfectly! Thanks for that. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

I turned the NAV Lights on and after that my Mouse click spots stopped working. I am able to click on the EFB menus, but as with all the switches and buttons, the click spots are not working. Maybe just a glitch. I'll close the sim down and restart and see what happens. To follow up on this, I closed MSFS and restarted, loaded the same flight and everything seems back to normal. All the "click spots" are working as they should. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

Successfully achieved a number of flights and all has behaved impeccably, from VNAV to ILS down to touchdown. And the power of the reverse prop on touchdown is awesome! Yes that's right. I have never seen a third party aircraft pounded on so much because it didn't meet peoples expectations of how they think it should fly, rather than how it actually does fly in real life. Even some 'professional' YouTubers waded in on it based on what others had said, and then added their own misconceptions. How many didn't use the 'state' knob, or didn't calibrate the throttles correctly? Clear USER ERROR - not the plane. I know Avangel comes on here, but her review of the ATR was very poor on this occasion. I know she has a certain style of just diving in, but this is one aircraft where you simply can't do that. I hope she watches the tutorial videos and gives it another go just for the sake of fairness. You can just dive in on most 'bush' aircraft, but you can't on the ATR. I thought that is what 'study level' kind of means doesn't it? You have to study it - surely that is the main aspect of 'study level'. And then there is this thing about it stifling a potential Blackbird (Milviz) model. How is that the fault of this developer? If Blackbird want to make a version, that is purely a commercial decision for them and nobody else. I know there are some great freeware aircraft out there, but this is the best tenner I have ever spent on payware. Just £10! (maybe £16 for others without MSFS Ultimate etc.) And some people still want to compare it to ATR's in previous sims, such as the Flight1 ATR. About $35 wasn't it? May 2, 20233 yr Bobcat, totally agree with you, I think many of those youtubes are just a waste of time and useless. as the ATR pilot form New Zealand explained in his first of 7 youtube lesson, they go through a 2-3 months ATR training, and these "experts" do this in mere minutes without having read any manual whatsoever. 😊 AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

Microsoft had massive resources to pour into this project, subsidizing it to the point that no third party dev could possibly compete on price.

Yes, that is a fact. But it goes on the world over and there is nothing we can do about it. That's business. It's tough sometimes. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
