April 29, 20233 yr How does one cut off fuel? My condition levers work nicely between feather, low and high, but they don't go down to fuel cut off. When I try to set it in the VC, they jump right back to feather. I can't stop the engines, even switching off fuel pumps does not help.

The CRJ (or at least the ones I fly) has demonstrated the capability to fly RF Legs and is able to do so when coupled to GNSS as navigation source with AP on or FDs on. It also needs FMC *-28 software or later, and it should show such approaches in the FMS. Still not authorized for RNP-AR, I think this may also have something to do with the required commanded bank angle below 400' AGL. But if/when you find RF legs outside of such -AR procedures, the CRJ should able to fly them if you meet these requirements. I can not find those bank limits in any of our FCOMs or AFM on the CRJ9, it just mentions things like "1/2 bank limits to 15 degrees of roll" and "1/2 bank limits to half the normal bank limit for the selected lateral mode" which would logically lead me to 15 and 30 degrees. Just curious and wanting to find out more about it. Yes, it can fly RF legs, just not to RNP AR accuracy. The bank limits I mentioned are in the Proline 4 systems manual, which is a maintenance publication. 15/30 is close, and it may be simpler to “round up” for the purposes of the FCOM. Our Challenger 850s/CRJ200s do have the STC to add LPV approach capability, and it works very well indeed! Our crews use LPV all the time. I don’t think many airline operators have adopted LPV, as the STC is quite expensive, and involves about 2 weeks down time to add/modify wiring, plus upgraded GPS units. We also have the Safe Flight STC for auto-throttles. That is only available for the CRJ 200. It’s not compatible with the FADEC engines on the 700/900. We also have RAAS, which is a modification to the Honeywell EGPWS. Curious is that is commonly used in airline CRJs? I don't see a format for "Microsoft ATR 42/72" in the Downloader. I have version 1.6.4. So, it does not update automatically, I thought it did, Where can we see a manual update, on the Navigraph website? EDIT: No worries everyone. False alarm, I checked out the Navigraph forums and found my answer. I simply regenerated a flight plan and "Microsoft ATR 42/72" was showing in the list. If anyone replied to this, Thanks! April 30, 20233 yr Moderator Is everyone having a blast flying this beauty, like me? I didn’t know what to expect having just come over from P3D, but I’m completely blown away by Hans’ work here. Fortunately many tutorials helped me to experience the ATR nearly without bugs. I can change temps to F or C without problems, and my MCDU hasn’t crashed once. This plane will be around a while, congrats Hans - ein wirklich tolles Produkt 🍻. Dont understand the critical nature from many. There should be no fix for this. 737NG Driver made an important point in his video about the freezing. Why wasnt this freezing of the FMC detected in beta when they had professional ATR pilots testing it out? The answer is simple. Because they follow what they do in real life. Meaning they dont type in the airways. It is selected from a list. Therefore no freezing. Should be a wake up call for everyone. This is a testimony that the aircraft is properly done, since ATR themselves had a heavy hand in the information they give. If we type in airways and waypoints and it freezes , its simply not the correct way of the real aircraft. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

You think the real FMS freezes when you try to enter an airway in that way, consequently compromising the entire flight and the safety of it? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Ask an ATR pilot. They all seem to select from the list rather than entering it in. But what do I know. I'm learning the aircraft like most. Was just pointing it out why they didnt find it in beta because of the critique it wasnt ready for release. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
