Navigraph have confirmed they are looking at the Simbrief data export for the ATR so hopefully it won't take too long to get an dedicated format.

The FMC/Route management is in urgent need of a patch. It sometimes inserts redundant waypoints sometimes even 40 pages of waypoints after inserting a simple airway /airway exit combination. Sometimes the FMC freezes.

I sincerely hope that Hans did not invent his own navigation database instead of using the ingame database. That would destroy the fun the ATR is able to produce at their present status.

Doesn't work for me. I can see the tiller moving left/right but the actual nose gear doesn't move.

In testing I unassigned "nose wheel steering axis" then all of a sudden I could turn nose wheel with rudder. Thought I was good. Didnt change anything. Start new flight ready to taxi then again nose wheel will not turn lmao.

the ns switch I leave in down default position

Eric, did you ever resolve this issue? I have the exact same problem.

Hydraulics are all on:

nosewheel is enabled:

joystick-r-axis-Z is set to nosewheel steering axis (and rudder), iwA2jal.pngAND twisting the joystick makes the rudders and the nosewheel tiller animate as expected, but... the ATR doesn't steer. 😞

Kind of brings the flight to a screeching stop before it's even begun...

I saw in a youtube video that as a work-around you can activate the "ready for taxi" state in the EFB just before you are ready to taxi. Pressing the button won't destroy any inputs you made in the FMC or elsewhere but should activate nosewheel steering.

There's now an ATR specific format added to Simbrief export - if you refresh a flight plan or generate a new one you should see it as an option - the format isn;t guaranteed to be complete yet and you might still have issues so if you do encounter any problems with it let Navigraph know.

New format has also been pushed the the Simbrief downloader app so you should see it in that so you can download straight to the correct directory.

More or less yes.  Half the aircraft buttons on the panel and the FMC freeze up.  No idea why but it makes the plane unflyable and, frankly, makes me wonder how much time was spent beta testing before release.  My FMC froze prior to entering airways the first time....it's really odd.

I'm guessing you haven't seen 737NG Driver's tutorial series - he seems to have no trouble at all entering airways without locking up the FMC. Take a look here:

According to flightdeck2sim on YouTube the flight model and physics including drag are way off.  Needs a Major update / Rework. Kinda disappointing.

I watched his stream "the landing" and the ATR floated at 80kts. Does that really happen in real life? Q400 (FlyJSim) in XP and P3D (Majestic) does not do that and they are similar Aircraft. I would expect the ATR to land firm at 110 KTS but it looked embarrassing to me from a expert brand labeled by MSFS. Kind like the default heavy birds namely the 787 sold in the Premium Deluxe.
