I don't have the Fenix yet (I am not normally a deep systems guy), but after V2 is released I will be going all in with them.
That whole range for £90 offers superb value for money, and it is just too good to miss.  It is amazing news and I bet Aamir was itching to tell us what he had been cooking up.

Rob-

Get Fifi.. she's lovely now, and will be stunning in her new patent pumps and pearls. Promise!

I am already completely satisfied with the existing version of the Fenix A320 and would have had no regrets for my purchase even if there had been no further updates. Performance improvements and updates to the A320 model will be icing on the cake.

While I am personally not particularly interested in the A319/A321 models, I will be happily buying them to support Aamir, Dave and the gang.

I understand the A318 is not mentioned yet

Just like in real life, it's not going to be popular. Weird proportions and limited production figures.

Pricing would need to be very low (£5 - £10) to get any volume of sales and people will complain that more popular Airbus like A32N, A330, A340, A350 should be their focus instead.

Personally, I'd love to see it as it would be the only good jet airliner in MSFS that has certification for ops at London City.

FSL's Airbus line is done for anyway in MSFS unless they come out with a NEO or A330.

I also doubt many would be swayed away to FSL, especially if a potential FSL A321 drops after the Fenix A321 (I know at least for me that'd be the case).

If FSLabs were making an A321 for MSFS, they were probably wasting their time and money, since they knew that it was always a race against Fenix to come out with the first high fidelity A321 for MSFS.

If FSLabs are anywhere near having a complete A321 (or any A320 family aircraft) they should absolutely release it. As consumers, we should be very happy to have a different offering. Who knows what FSL may bring to the party.

Now, the A320 family is very well represented by FBW, Fenix and LVFR, who all have their own (if overlapping) markets and a FSL A330 will sell like hotcakes. Nonetheless, I'd much rather have this overabundance of choice compared to the very limited Boeing selection at the moment.

While I'm aware an iFly 737MAX and a BlueBird 757 & 767 are in development, I have my fingers crossed that some enterprising devs have licensed the ProSim 737 and/or Aerowinx 747 to get the ball rolling on their own projects.

Perhaps Fenix sim could expand their team and eventually have non-Airbus aircraft in their hangar?

Will the revamped version allow an engine failure with the aircraft flying accordingly?

I guess we have to wait for V2 block 2 (during September) to see that. This is when the new engine modeling will be released.

I'm one of the rare people who think the smallest member of an aircraft family are the most attractive.  they look stronger.  I look at the A321 as the ugly one with weird proportions.  To be honest I think Airbus aircraft other than the A350 are ugly.  But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I do agree that the A318 would probably not be very popular though.  I personally dig fictional flights.  So I would be able to make it work with fictional livery's.

It would have been nice to add feature to have the MCDU displayed on a tablet for easy input alla FTW

@micstatic How about this one, then?

FWIW, I think this is how most people see an A318... 😁

That would be a little much for me!  But all in all I like how the A318, 736, 752, 772, 788 look compared to the stretches.  Nonetheless this part of the plane I find really ugly, and unfortunately it is similar looking on most airbus planes.
