November 17, 20232 yr Navigarah survey starts today. https://navigraph.surveysparrow.com/s/flightsim-community-survey-2023/tt-o22g6HfU4MZ6siX5GExcYa?partnerid=navigraph
November 17, 20232 yr The dropdown list of favorite acft add-ons for MSFS is very poorly organized...had to search extensively to find even very popular add-ons like the PMDG acft. I suspect the answers to that question are going to be skewed towards invalidity due to people not being able to find things in the list and giving up/moving on. For X-plane you had to type in the add ons , they didn't give us a dropdown list. This was almost like taken a exam. lol My advice to others', plan to spend sometime and do a little research on what you have bought in the the last year, if you don't remember while doing the survey.
November 17, 20232 yr 1. In social media section there is no option 'none'. They do not assume even that someone these days do not use one of those 😵 2. Survey is focused on MSFS like no other sims existing - detailed questions are about MSFS. 3. Too many personal data requested. Artur

In that case I won’t be bothering if they’re only interested in one simulator when there are three major ones. Ray (Cheshire, England). It appears slanted that way to make to whole process simpler and seems dumbed down while they leave it up to you to fill in the blanks where there is no drop down list of any products or things you would consider. They did supplied a list from the MSFS addon but from what I understand from Bob Scott post, it wasn't done very well either. Edited November 17, 20232 yr by BobFS88

You'd be better served filling it in, if nothing else than for registering as your main sim. If people on the "lesser used" (going by last years results) platforms don't fill it in then it will skew the data even more towards MSFS. For what it's worth I didn't see it as massively skewed towards MSFS. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

I let them know at lease that our sim and its market is still alive and well. I find this year survey appearing the lease objective than past survey. I would have rather seen them use last years question for this year so that you can get a better feel for any changes. There is just too many chances that some folks will just skip listing their favorite addons or their purchases if they don't remember them all.
November 17, 20232 yr This was released at an interesting time for me. If it had been released a week ago, I would have selected P3Dv4 as my main flight simulator. In addition, the fact that I have only just installed Microsoft Flight Simulator made a few questions about addons somewhat tricky to answer. November 17, 20232 yr People are really complaining that the survey is biased? Wow. I wonder if that isn't preemptive damage control lol. Anyway, I also think the way they designed the aircraft selection is bad. To get around it, I just started typing the name of the aircraft and it popped up from the list. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
