March 1, 20242 yr Also noticed thís yesterday as well too. At RKPC. I'm also using DX12 and the DLSS FG mod. I thought it was my scenery causing this. I'm on SU14. Also noticed a random white flash on my screen as well too. Extremely annoying. Never really noticed those 2 things before though. So not entirely sure the cause of it. March 1, 20242 yr It’s a DX12 related bug that has been there since SU10/11 IIRC. In my experience it’s not airport-specific - it can happen anytime, anywhere. Granted, DX12 is still listed as being in beta. Edited March 1, 20242 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

March 2, 20242 yr I had this once in dx12 months ago for about 3 days. After that, I have never seen the dX12 patches again. Any fix for that? thanks I don't know exactly what fixed it in my case, or actually what caused it the first time because I had been using MSFS 2020 for a long time, and lately in DX12 with DLSS + FSR3 and never seen it before. There are some possibilities in my case: - I had pushed a SU14 backup from an external disk to reinstall MSFS 2020 and give a try to SU15 Beta, but as the sim started there was no update... Only two sessions later did an update notification popup and pushed a few GiGas... - I had installed the latest version of Nvidia Game-Ready drivers; I did do 2 things which I think are placebo, but couldn't resit trying it - cleared the rolling cache and the shaders cache too - the patches persisted... I decided to try the new Nvidia App, DDU-ed the previous drivers install, Nvidia App was installed and pushed the exact same driver update and... the patches were still there ... Two days later when I had again a chance to start the sim PC and MSFS 2020, no patches! It was solved. I don't like when (specially in IT) problems appear to get solved out of nothing... but it's nice to se the patches no more 🙂 Ah! Ah !!!!!! I was almost forgetting about yet another detail - they started when I installed Fenix B2 !!! but I have used it again and again and there are no patches. March 3, 20242 yr Tile loading and texture issues in both DX11 & DX12 have been there for years; https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/aerial-ground-tiles-changing-popping-in/ https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/mixed-textures-in-ground-at-default-airport-dx12-beta/ Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
March 3, 20242 yr Definitely DX12 is the issue as I don't have the issue when I try DX11. It does seem to have got worse recently and I have a suspicion that it might be partly related to updating to DLSS 3.5 (I had some issues with 3.5.10). It's also possible that the FG mod might be having an additional impact (not really sure). But definitely DX12 is the main culprit here even with no rolling cache, latest Nvidia driver, shader caches cleaned and dx cache cleaned. Hope ASOBO can fix in SU15 but the issue has been around for as long as we've had DX12. Agree. I rarely saw it before SU15 beta. Got DLSS 3.5.10.0 installed. Didn’t think it could be related, it you might be right. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Since day 1 of buying the sim I never noticed these until now. I wish I had taken a screenshot but it looks like the square patches that appear are using graphics from the Commodore 64 and brown in colour. It's a totally different issue and probably shouldn't be fobbed off as something that's been here for years. Appeared for me after recent driver download and fenix download (coincidence most likely). I'm also using Frame Gen and DX12, although I've done 2 flights since in DX11 and it never occured. March 3, 20242 yr I started seeing ground patches once I switched to DX12 after upgrading from a 3080ti to a 4090 and it seems to occur more when using the Fenix. I have found using the alternate renderer, prefer CPU rendering, and display sync off in the Fenix app gives me the best performance and I haven’t seen any patches since making this adjustment. I’ve done several flights now. Benjamin Nash AMD Ryzen 9800X3D, 64GB DDR5 RAM CL30, Asus ROG Strix 4090, Asus ROG x870E Hero Motherboard, Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB PCIE5 NVME SSD, LG OLED C1 48"
