I don't think I've seen default available presets.

Really? @timest Did you guys include some presets?

OK Captain. Please show the user how to apply your settings and some shared presets.

Thanks.

I think you might mean these:

Over time there's probably going to be some great community presets. I'm waiting for finallight!

Is anyone getting loads of fog even when it's not present in the METAR with live weather?  I've had to turn the fog and haze sliders completely down to zero.  Humidity I have about halfway up

It seems sort of hazy with Rayleigh…

‘The only weather slider I’ve touched is visual cloud enhancement (really good!).

Kinda regret buying this. Wish it had actual Rex made presets. I have no clue what I'm doing haha.

I also don't like that it completely messes with the menu coloring.

While Atmos allows for deep customization, you don’t have to spend time fine-tuning if that's not your preference. REX Atmos users are already creating and sharing their own presets through the in-app cloud-based system so you can easily apply and see how they look. If you like one you can keep it without any further adjustments.

That being said, visual preferences can vary depending on monitors, and personal taste. What looks great on one setup might not look as good on another. That's why customization is available, but it’s by no means required. The goal is to give users the freedom to either dive into the details or simply use presets created by others to enhance their experience.

Sorry guys, i know i am more or less alone with my opinion but for me you created other expectations (at least for me) Posting comparison pictures all the time and saying nothing about the how to get there.

I have no motivation for try and error. i want just want to fly.

If i remember back to weather force, skyforce etc. they all had presets and a much more intuitiv interface and it was fire and forget.

Atmos looks unfinished to me and it is a again this feeling that you just want to make some fast money before 2024 gets out.

As always, your marketing was better then the outcome. For me..

This product is not meant for a set and forget. It is a tool to tweak the sim to your liking. However, you use some created presets by other users.

Thanks for your replies.

Soon having hundreds of shared user presets of mixed quality doesn't help for me. What I would like to see is a curated set of maybe a handful of professionally created "set-and-forget-presets" I can choose from once and then never have to look at the UI again. Just like with your Accuseason and Global Airport Textures products.

Seems like I'm not alone so maybe you give this another thought.

Imho the fitst thing is adding valies to the sliders. That would be very welkome.

The app in general improves the look of the scene a lot. Well done.

Question : do I need to “load” the handmade presets for Weather, Enviro and Atmos every time I start Atmos or will the app load the last chosen presets automatically at startup ?

Yes.  Rex must have some.

I would like to be able to load the ones they used for their screen shots for example,  just as a starting point, then adjust them more to my liking if I need to.
If I mess things up, then at least I will have a datum to go back to.

I think it is an excellent concept and implementation anyway.
I am grateful for the application, and I think it is at a fair price, but as some have said, it just needs a few tweaks to the interface and some default / suggested settings to get us started.

As stated above, they are listening.

I'm really surprised that this add-on did not include presets in its initial release. This should not be that time consuming to do. Create, save, share.

REX please share your Atmos presets. Thank you.
