Seems that there’s going to be endless opportunities for tweaking. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but could be bewildering. This probably sounds strange coming from me, since I recently started a thread on nvidia filters. 

In the screenshot below (from today), the ground looks too green/blue to me. And I can’t see any significant changes in the sky (except the colour). Not sure how the ozone option and Raleigh scattering works.

This one I agree with - the msfs shot looks better and more realistic with what I've seen.  Then again the air is typically clear and beautiful here in MN.  The bottom pic looks like a pic taken from an aircraft's tinted window or someone with incorrect white balance on their camera.

It would be interesting to see this same screenshot with :  Adjusted scene tone + Adjusted the terrain colour left at default MSFS settings and they only played around with the sky. As  mentioned earlier this screen shot is pretty much a direct one to one comparison with P3D V5 with Ea enabled which I absolutely hate. 

I agree that in the last example, the default looks better.

Maybe it's just me, but this drib and drab of daily single shot comparisons is making my interest wane rather quickly.

I agree. Feels like a build up to an unexpectedly high price or a "you have to make it work for you via the settings" type scenario.

If IMO the price is too high, I'll give this a miss and wait and see what 2024 does out of the box, but if it's cheap enough I'll give it a go.

Opposite for me.  The more images and addon options shared, the more interest I am getting.  To be able to tweak to ones own pc/monitor/calibration setup seems excellent.

I am excited at the prospect of tweaking all of these different values to my pc/monitor/calibration and personal taste.  I agree the bottom image looks too blue/green, but to have the option of tuning it is great!

Something else I noticed as the increased sense of depth to the sky in the second image.

After release it might be good to start a thread in the screenshot section and link it here.

I won't be an early adopter on this one. But I'll be interested to know the experience of fellow simmers.

any info on release date, anyone ?

If it reaches October with no real news, id have probably lost all interest with 2024 being right around the corner by then lol

Even at this point, we are 2 months from MSFS2024; I think I can wait until then and then evaluate Atmos and whether I think I need it. I will migrate immediately on release so I am not so interested in what it can do for 2020.

MSFS 2024 isn't here yet.... I want REX Atmos for MSFS 2020 NOW!!!!!!!

i want it all, i want it now. Give us the Atmos, atmospheric breakthrough, yeah. Woohooo yeah, really i want msfs2024 also now 🤪

Not at all interested in MSFS2024 for the time being im staying with MSFS2020 until its totally stable after release,that will more than likely be a good few months,so i would like REX Atmos ASAP please.
