Antoine knows of the settings are  connected to ecpressions ?

With PTA you could make expressions where the final value would change. Eg : Raleigh scattering would change depending on time of day or altitide of flying.

The same with saturation of the ground textures :  saturation depending on weather ( Sun/raining) and time of day.

Etc etc

Buy it, then you need to go to Rex Axis to add it to your account using the registration code and order number - then you can download from your account.

Aside from having default & community presets, I was hoping for REX Atmos to ALSO create a profile based on the real weather depicted.

That would be cool. Don't forget to share your presets. I'll pick this up later on today.

I'm pretty confused by this tool, having handled the absolutely dreadful download and install process.

So you have to have it running at all times while running the sim, and you have to create a profile each time you want it to do something?

Does it work with live weather?

Just bought and installed it.

When creating an Atmos set the sliders can go from 0 to 100, but when moving a slider you cannot see the value you have chosen.

Is that correct ?

for me this looks like a not fully finished interface. As you said the sliders do not show any values, no presets, despit ethe community ones and no possibility to load a preset when you start the sim.....

My impressions after testing Atmos for a few hours. I'll talk a bit about the installation process as well as the main features.

Yes - default live, REX Weather Force, Active Sky. I like how the clouds can be manipulated to get rid of those dreadful "ash clouds".

Already I changed a lot using the NVCP RGB options + NV Freestyle filters.

But using Atmos I was able ti finetune it a step further and I an really impressed by the autumn look I now have.

Some suggestions :

- showing the value for each slider

- some sliders seem to show charges from about halfway and upwards

- the R, G and B sliders do have an enormiteit effect nu just moving tiem a little

In total it really improves the sim 👍

With the massive changes already mentioned in the lighting and clouds for MS2024, think I’ll wait for that. I can’t be bothered constantly changing parameters based on current conditions. Not having numbers to reference on each parameter will also drive my ocd insane.

Profiles can be saved after being created, then selected whenever you wish.
