September 28, 20241 yr Just got it. Installed it with the sim running and it's working without the need to restart the sim. Which means it doesn't add anything to the sim itself. I like that it's easy to reset individual sliders - or everything. I just played around a little: stormy preset with high clouds and softer clouds slight increase in ambient light, Rayleigh and ozone general ambient sky color slightly towards blue Screenshot below is SDR. Should we perhaps create a screenshot thread? Hopefully finallight will post some presets soon 😄 Edited September 28, 20241 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

September 28, 20241 yr Exiting , a screenshot thread with presets is really a must. Maybe with a standard region time of date/year , SDR,HDR Thanks Michael Moe Edited September 28, 20241 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe
September 28, 20241 yr Had time for a quick flight. Need to tweak heaps but nice to have a bit more haze to the atmosphere, and the clouds looking a bit less like mash. Definitely up for a screenshot thread.
September 28, 20241 yr Does this add-on work in VR as well ? (i mean the actual result of the changes, not so much the interface) Edited September 28, 20241 yr by avhpilot Antoine v Heck --- Ryzen 5800X3D, 32Gb DDR4 RAM@1600 Mhz, RTX3090 (24GB VRAM). 2TB SSD - VR with Quest 2 via link cable

Is this something that always must be running in the background? What exactly is this? Eric

Like I said, you can make a general preset for all conditions that does make things a bit nicer, but you get much better results delving deep into specific conditions and tailoring presets for those. 2 hours ago, RTK1972 said: i am not happy because i thougth that they will deliver some presets (like they did with previous REX tools).. 1 hour ago, B777ER said: "Is there a set & forget option?" No 5 minutes ago, MrBitstFlyer said: There are presets on the home screen, plus you can search for other users presets! I am confused. So is there one (or several) preset(s) we can activate and never need to tune anything again (=set and forget)? Will presets be automatically adapted to the current conditions in the sim? If the user is expected to tweak every parameter in all kinds of combinations himself and even has to manually change presets according to the situation in the sim then this will be a hard pass for me. Can anybody please clarify?

It isn't a complex app as a preset can be created very quickly. Just save it and use whenever you want. If you really don't want to edit anything, just use one of the included presets, or those created by other people. How would the tool itself know what preset to automatically apply in live weather? There are so many variables to consider.
