The closer this release gets to November, the less people are going to bite on it.

LOL! Next week. So the key question is this: Does a week start with Sunday?  Or instead start with Monday?

Price will be $14.50 USD. We aimed to offer a competitive price, considering the upcoming 2024 release, while also ensuring we recover our R&D costs.

Also, important to note, once we assess the logistics of integrating REX Atmos with MSFS 2024, we will make an official announcement. Customers who have purchased the 2020 version will be eligible for a discount.

If you haven't already, please visit https://rexsimulations.com/atmos.html and read the FAQ's posted.

Looks like it's out now.

At first a few weeks back I was wondering if this was for me.
But weirdly I actually think you timed the release well - the previews for FS2024 put me off the current sim a bit. Just like why bother with this when there's something much nicer looking coming. But actually this is a way to make the old sim look a bit fresher and tide me over to November. Picked up a copy.

Initial impressions:

- Easy enough to make a general preset that looks good in a bunch of different conditions like overcast, clear, etc
- I do see you'd get the most of it by really tweaking to specific conditions
- Always liked how XP looked in certain lighting conditions, a bit more grounded. You can now get MSFS to match that a bit more.
- Not really something if you just want an automatic fix-all-graphics button and it just does everything for you. Like I said, you can make a general preset for all conditions that does make things a bit nicer, but you get much better results delving deep into specific conditions and tailoring presets for those.

Suggestions:
- Would be amazing to toggle presets on/off quickly to see their effects
- As a QoL feature - would be great to see which preset is currently active a bit clearer
- As I understand it, the app doesn't load a preset at startup, right? Would be great to be able to set a default and that one just automatically activates. That way I can just launch Atmos during startup and forget about it.

Thank you so much ! Why don't they communicate this when "you" order and new predefined sets one could use instead you have to find the right setup for yourself.... I am not into trying this and that so would be great if they could offer some presets in the future..... No satisfied tbh.
