Ya cirrus cloud type was confirmed by Jorg/Seb in their FS Expo presentation this year.

  • Lol.  This is a developer stream, not a hearing before Congress.

over 40 new aircraft/balloons/helicopters/gliders

even only the 10 I am most interested in would cost more than MSFS 2024 premium deluxe alone. not to mention the "foreflight-like" flightplanner and the most requested feature according to all Q&As since 2020: a pebbles paradise.

MSFS 2024 is the proverbial "final nail in the coffin..." for MSFS 2020 that is. 🤣

no more questions your honour!

Why settle for 95 when you could have nine hundred?? 🙂

Re: the new aircraft wow lots to chew on.. I wonder about the A321LR and whether it's Asobo/WT in-house developed or 3rd party like iniBuilds.

The Cirrus, 787, and Longitude continue to be Premium Deluxe only so that's a no brainer for me as those three alone are more than worth the upgrade to the top tier edition (and they've likely received updates for all the core sim improvements if not further love from WT).

iniBuilds would make sense, they're making every other non-Airbus helicopter. Plus the similar avionics would make the work go faster

The 747-8F is there, and the A330-P2F. I'm happy we're getting we're freighters by default.

The Globemaster has a Canadian Airforce Livery! Makes me wonder if the A400M will also come with any real military liveries.

This is going to be a great testing ground for MS technologies so it doesn't surprise me. That's kinda neat.

From the article:

In the future, a function will follow with which you can communicate in your native language in the live chat and the other chat participants can hear what is said in their respective national languages.

This can be great for people wanting to try ATC, but don't know english very well.

This is the timestamp in the presentation where they confirmed it: https://youtu.be/a6riRXgRsCU?t=1675 .. so at the very least we know the core weather engine has that new capability to render these cloud types. What's not clear is if live weather will include it... I'm not that familiar with live weather data, but does that usually include data about cirrus clouds? If it does, hopefully the data that MSFS sources has it and will then render accordingly in live weather.

Let me be the first to look a gifted horse in the mouth:

What level of fidelity will all these things have...?

I get that they're included Defaults, but I'd dearly love for them to be more on the iniBuilds end of the spectrum...

I'd appreciate higher quality and lower quantity if there's a tradeoff to be made. 🤙
