I wouldn't be suprised if RSR released the MAX one hour after iFly releases theirs. They've been very quiet about the PMDG 737MAX, which in itself says a lot (I mean it's PMDG, RSR usually talks for aeons about their products).
Rumors have it that they had the MAX ready 5 years ago and had to delay it because of real life events. They would need to port it over to MSFS, but technically this isn't that much different than doing another 737 variant with new screens, so it's possible they have this ready since last year.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

It never works like that.  We would first have to endure months of relentless pandering and teasers before it actually became a thing.

Asobo are saying is the most detailed plane they have ever made

To be fair, the others they have made set the technical bar very low regarding systems.

"enters paint shop"... exactly the same meaning as seeing @Steve Dra's emoji.

And finally, the question many simmers are asking, is the potential release date for the Boeing bird. Unfortunately, nothing is set in stone as of yet, with the team writing ‘we do not have a set release date. The team is working hard and we will post more information as the release date gets closer.’

There is nothing „near release“

For those obsessed with wing flex—and there seem to be far more than I would have thought—iFly just posted a 20-second flex video on its Discord server.

Not to digress but this is one of the significant benefits of running lossless frame generation on my machine.  The fluidity of wingflex at higher framerates is stunning to watch so I am looking forward to this...

That is a real beauty....

I may just have to change my mind if for no other reason then to support the developer and maybe if they get enough support they will start working on the 7, 9 and 10 eventually!
