How could you have waited for the rush to be over when it just released?

I listened to all the naysayers saying to wait and I did....for one minute. Entire install took about 11-minutes.

Same here.

And I'm in the main menu, let's go

[MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

Still launching. Feels like they are lunching.

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

Limitless 0xxxx..123 id app is part of MS24 install right? It asks permission to have account access. I was afraid it was something malicious during install lol.🙈

I9 12900K @ 5.1ghz P-cores/ 4.0 ghz E-cores fixed HT off / Corsair iCue H150i Capellix Cooler/ MSI Z690 CARBON WiFi / 32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM @ 5200 mhz XMP on / 12GB MSI 4090 RTX Ventus 3 / 7,5 total TB SSD (2+2+2+1+0,5 all NVMe)/ PSU 850W Corsair / 27" (1080P)

Considering how terrible my broadband is usually, it's doing really well.

Of course, I'm wearing a cravat for the occasion.....

Language loading... slow. Very slow.

Install is very slow. But first time it seems normal. Initial download was fast!

Maybe because people like you have been banging on about buying it day one and uninstalling MSFS 2020. Yes launch is a shower, i knew that would happen.

People like me?

Neither have I deinstalled MSFS nor have I bought 24 at this point.

I won't have time to fly until Thursday. 😉

You say that but then purchase for day one. So far its painful to watch gamemuscles live stream. This is why some people say they are giving it a few weeks months whilst still playing MSFS 2020....

Because I don't give a word not allowed honestly. I knew what I was getting into and don't mind it. Having nothing better to do until its finished so Ill post on this thread. I'm not complaining with these posts if you got that impression.

This is what i experienced with the tech alpha. The server just wasn't..... "serving" well. But i probably will not be playing till later tonight anyways... presently at work.. i could take the afternoon off but wont...  I just got the new NVME for the sim this morning so that has to be installed and i also have training obligations on zwift before i can consider doing anything with MSFS anyway.

You can all think yourselves very lucky! My broadband connection failed last Friday and is still down, being given the run around ever since. Anyway, I have 100gb per month data allowance on my phone so I'm piggy backing off that to my pc, after 30 minutes I've got to 5gb which is better than I expected!!!

Yeah, same but I don't mind. This is what makes launch day fun tbh. The excitement we all share while waiting to get our first taste of the sim.
