Maybe because people like you have been banging on about buying it day one and uninstalling MSFS 2020. Yes launch is a shower, i knew that would happen.

Downloaded and running now! No issues with the speed or launching the game. 

The MOST important thing is to make a quick launch short cut. Sadly, I've forgotten how!

Last game was a massive hit, it would make sense to have an awareness that loads of people will want to buy that game again but with 2024 on it. So this is on ASOBO, and just saying its expected makes no sense otherwise you would not purchase day one...
