Yeah, my room is warming up from the install video playing at 2000fps triggering my video card to near max out.

Stuck at 9% Activating for a good 15 minutes now. Download is crawling with constant start stop action, more stop than start.

I think the reasonable thing to do is for eveyone in America to turn off their PC's NOW. I'll let you know when I'm ready. How does that sound?

An ex excellent idea!

Saw a Starfield update in the Xbox app, clicked on it and it started downloading at 100Mbps. Then realised that it had paused FS2024. Paused Starfield and resumed FS2024 and the download speed for FS2024 has jumped up from swinging between 10 and 70Mbps to a steady 100Mbps.

So how is everyone enjoying their new game?

I'm waiting to see if the "no internet connection" situation will be present in 2024 as it surely hasn't been resolved for 2020. I'm ready to go but there's little point in upgrading if the new sim is similarly strangled. We'll see.....

God, will you stop with your endless stream of obnoxious negative nancy posts because you're watching some irrelevant streamer who can't wait 10 minutes.

Not bad waiting with a cup of Joe. Beats standing in line for a disc that may be sold out by the time I get to the front
