Yes, absolutely, you will get those... dynamically, gradually. Been that way since P3D days actually. @ha5mvo

Flying Fenix in Icing conditions

Use the FSL or the Fenix if it feels better to you. I don't know why people need to get so heated over it. They're both great simulations of the aircraft.

what about wing and fuselage ice? Any effect on drag and lift? What happens in an early morning freezing fog situation? (Fan blade ice accumulation situation).

I had that addon since day one but always thought that icing wasn’t simulated.

I don't think Fenix changes the drag due to icing since it's not mentioned in any of their notes. As far as MSFS comes along, by default if you're using icing the simulation will change weight and lift based on icing_scalar.

My guess is this is all that's used on the FNX FM, assuming it's set to 1.0 in that product.

From my experience of flying in Fenix - it does simulate ice build up of some sort and you would need to turn on anti-icing equipment where necessary. It is not visually simulated I think because I never saw it, so it all based on your knowledge of icing hazards. Fslabs does create visual effects outside which is a step up - in particular I like the anti icing fluid on wings and fuselage after de-icing on ground as well as ice build up overtime.

I never had to de-ice the Fenix. I never had to anti-ice it either. I can fly confidently in the Fenix in any kinda potential ice hazardous condition without even setting the AI on because and nothing will happen (correct me if I'm wrong of course), which isn't the case in the FSLabs... The experience is completely different in the FSlabs... 

May not have happened to you but i certainly needed to perform de-ice procedures in the Fenix or else i was not going anywhere during the last round of winter storms at KMSP. As stated by others above.. you wont see a visual representation of ice on the fuselage but you certainly will notice it and the aircraft will warn you if you are actually paying attention (Laggy and asymmetrical engine response  or harsh engine vibration as examples).  If you do not follow the procedures you may find out later to your detriment. It is built in.

Would i like to see snow on fuselage? sure...and hopefully they are working on making that happen. but the underlying systems are working. I have experienced it.

That's completely simulated in the Fenix, including the need for ice shedding
