Are there any default planes that are 100% working properly?

Featured Replies

?? Besides the 172 (even though I never use so maybe it does have issues too?).

Seems every plane I try has an issue or 5.

No sir.  I have not found one yet that doesn't have something Inop or broken.

That being said, opinion seems to be that among the new aircraft in FS24, the HU-16/G111 is among the best. The developer is the same guy who made the Savoia-Marchetti S.55 from FS20. He's quite active on the official forums and has been very responsive to requests for bug fixes and new features; unfortunately thus far he's been held back by the glacial FS24 update queue, but there are lots of improvements now in the pipeline.

I'm confident that, just as with FS20, many of these bugs will eventually be fixed. But it's downright deplorable that MS/Asobo released all these aircraft in this state.

True, but there are planes that pretty much allow you to complete a flight from A to B

1. Cessna Citation Longitude
2. Asobo Cirrus Vision Jet
3. Pilatus PC-24 - VSpeeds are all wrong, don't use the AT. And, preferably, use VS rather than FLC.

The A330 has worked well for me. And, at the other end of the spectrum, the AeroElvira Optica.

Fortunately, I bought Deluxe Premium for the airports.

The quality of default aircraft have improved immeasurably in 2024, but they should have held them back until they were finished.

I saw this the other day, the default 737 in FS9, the overhead panel is just an image with a few switches. Microsoft FS9 Flight #2: Flying the Stock 737 in FS2004 (Boeing 737-400) - YouTube

FS2024 • PMDG 738, 77F • FSL A321 • A2A Comanche, Aerostar • BS Baron, Bonanza, Caravan Pro • JF Tomahawk • TAOG H500C
BeyondATC • GSX Pro • ChasePlane & Flow Pro • TDS GTNXi • FSUIPC • AutoFPS • RealTurb

9800X3D B650E • ROG OC RTX 5090 • 64GB DDR5-6000 • VKB Gladiator, STECS, T-Rudder • Tobii 5 • ISP 1 Gbps

I really don't know, but I can name those I've been extensively using and enjoying:

Inibuilds:

- A320N, A321N, A330, A400

Not being to the level of the best payware addons they're still very good, and surely above any default aircraft of similar complexity available in other platforms...

At least one can rely on payware addon aircraft to be 100% working at release. None of them ever require updates after purchase.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

I have just two default aircraft remaining. The rest have been disabled.

And those are?

I quite like the cargo 172 so I've kept that and I've just put the Optica back as you can finally remove the co-pilot. Whether I'll keep it or not I don't know but I like it as of today. The rest were zapped. I have the Deluxe version.

Indeed.

It would also be incredibly ironic if the four "Make Good" planes come riddled with issues & bugs, wouldn't actually surprise me if they did.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
