If yes to both, then I don't see a problem here.

Yea, my reading of the message is that you can continue to access the latest version and activate them and OC2 can continue to be used to install liveries. They are just not going to provide any further updates and they are not going to provide support.

@CAP1234, in the light of discussion here and also on the PMDG forum I think it might allay fears if the title of this topic was altered.

IRC they said no as they also have license agreement with Boeing on these issue.

And no such things for FS9/FSX era.

People will complain about anything I suppose. P3D is a dead platform as far as revenue is concerned. Everyone knows it but few people want to accept it. If you think that PMDG owes you anything because you still use their P3D products, then you’re the issue. Those products are old. Some of them coming up to a decade old. Besides, if your products are running well, why complain, you still get access to the installers and the liveries.

Did you read the PMDG post fully? It clearly says the OPS 2 will cease to function - meaning the only liveries available will be third party, even that I don't know how that will work as you still require OPS to install liveries. I don't care about future updates - I know that is not going to happen but they should have left the OPS 2 for those who wanted to stay on their P3D products. What if I have to reinstall PMDG products after June 30th,  I would be to install using the default installers but no liveries will be available. 

Also there are various reasons why someone would stay on P3D for once - it is not justifiable from developers to take away the whole thing. In other businesses if you do that - customers can sue the owners.

Having said that I am not going to give PMDG a single penny moving forward.

• We will NOT produce any updates, fixes, or anything else for P3D. We have not done so in years, and will not do so in the future.
• Starting 30JUNE25 we will stop all support for P3D products.
• Operation Center 2 can still be used to install PTP files, but will lose all other functionality.
• Operation Center 3 will not cover any of our legacy P3D products.
• You can still download and install the P3D files you bought from our store system.

Or in much less words, nothing changes apart from the support being halted.

Ancillary note #2 - PMDG hasn't released anything for MSFS2024 yet.

Why ? Would you prefer them to work for free without any income, and then go bankrupt, instead of continuing to exist through other sims ? Nice mentality 🙂

Ancillary note #3 - Don't forget to say something negative about MSFS from time to time (no matter if it's wrong, as long as it's negative, then it's good).
