My God. I can't believe what I read. And Still all these reports of CTD's after the release of SU2.

All these reports are in the SU3 beta, not SU2.

Try a CapFrameX and see how that goes just for fun.

I ran it for five minutes just before bed and I got 100% for stutters (blue circle).  I'll have to have a play later.

I got many, many CTDs during SU2, but absolutely none since installing SU3.

I have heard more than enough here and elsewhere to stick to SU2 where everything is just amazing. I'm in no rush to jeopardise that.

Of I go 2-3 times into the menu and back Fs 2024 hangs. I experience this on both pc’s.

Going to try now with not going into the menu after loading ..

Update :

The client now hung on the startup screens.

I tried the main pc and it reached the menu and then hung.

I have to say that I am on the N.V. driver from march as I then can use the Freestyle filters.

Yesterday I did not fly but installed beta SU 3 , so the beta might cause this.

I will wait for a new beta SU 3 update.

Selective hearing.  SU3 is the most stable and immersive flightsim experience I have had since 2020 was launched.  Why not take a look yourself and see if the negativity is true for you?

As I am experiencing CTD’s I feel that this beta SU 3 is very sensitive.

With SU 2 I could use the NV App + Freestyle filters + driver 572.83

I will use my client pc as a test : Go back to GFE + Latest driver.  So no freestyle filters.

And MSFS 2024 really looked better with the filters ….. ☹️

There is a bug with the sim EFB that causes CTD's and also with the PMDG 777. Don't use the EFB (until the issue is fixed in the next build according to Matt Nischan) and disable the 777 if you have it and check if you still have CTD's.

Never have participated.  I have the Store version, what does one do to participate in a beta?

SU 3 strangely causes flickering trees and heavy performance. It's still early though, but going to SU 2 for now

Here I only use the Prosim 738 and an external EFB.

it might be because I use the 572.83 driver + Freestyle filters .

I think give it at least another couple of iterations. SU1 and SU2 were both a bit of a car crash to start with too.
