Are you rated in any of these in the real world.😐

No, I just say what I'm observing.

Either the flightmodel of the 700 needs work or the 750 simply flies better in approach config.

  • It ain't the Hot Start Challenger but this thing has vnav, a (rare) but optional Auto throttle, charts, EFB, superb sounds plus fairly deep systems/avioncs.  And it looks about 20 leagues better than

  • Which ones are not working?  Anyway, just climbed out of KPDX and headed to KSAN in 2024.  Everything worked very well, no issues, navigraph worked, flight plan was easy, getting up to cruis

  • Just finished my first flight, and it was definitely worth the wait! This aircraft is awesome! The sounds, visuals, and the classic avionics all make for a great simulation. All for a totally unbeatab

The 700 has a tendency to have way too high angle of attack on final.

2020 or 2024? At least in 2020 it should be relatively flat on final, maybe a few degrees nose up only, right in line with the real aircraft. In 2024 there is an issue where it does not respect some flaps center of lift settings we have not gotten to the bottom of, which does cause more nose up than we intend.

2024.

Good to know that I was not imagining things.

Another thing I noticed was that she is a bit unstable on the glidepath as well. She has a tendcy to sway left and right, which is why I usually switch to manual approach.

But I disgress, this is the Citation X thread not the Longitute thread. 😉

I love the Longitude in 2024 and flew it all the time.  Maybe I’ll fly it again but I’ve been waiting for a C750 since my FSX/P3D days as it was always my favorite.  The C750 is just as “deep” in my opinion with a lot more to manage as a pilot.  The C700 is also very deep but you really don’t have to manage as much.  The automated systems do alot of the work.  Sure you can see them working on the different pages but there’s just not much you have to do.  I prefer to be a little more involved with my flying to the C750 is a better mix for me.  Both are great aircraft.  I also want to say that I am very impressed with what FlightFX delivered.  There’s hardly many bugs and the ones that are there have somewhat easy workarounds for now.  Love this jet!

Unless we've flown the real plane none of us can talk (unless it's obvious like Perfect Flight Models were).😏  My son joined a DA-40 flight club at KORL.  I wasn't prepared for how much COWS got the flight model right.  I thought a few things were off but after flying the real plane, they nailed it.  These high end add-ons need the benefit of the doubt.  So much research went into these models it would be crazy to get the flight model wrong.  I actually would more so be skeptical of the Longitude seeing as it's a default plane.  All WT did was update the Avionics.  The flight model could be totally off as it isn't confirmed it was tested by real world Longitude pilots.🤔  In contrast the Citation X was.💯

No, the flight model (aside from aforementioned 2024 center of lift bug that we're waiting on the sim for) was created in conjunction with both type-rated pilots and engineers from the manufacturer themselves, and updated by us at the same time as the avionics (and systems). It is extremely accurate, all the way down to the very real float on landing if you come in even a little hot, as well as matching book performance.

From what I understand the C700 is rated for single pilot use, the 750 is not.

The C700 requires a 2 person crew

You're probably thinking of the CJ4.

He got it from Flight Simulator (only one person is needed in the virtual cockpit).😏😎

I know Matt already commented on the 700 limitations in 2024 but here's something I found concerning X operation in the real world from one of the pilots who helped with FlightFX version:
