None of my responses have been emotive I really can't see how giving a consumer the choice to essentially trial an aircraft is anti-consumer. Meanwhile most common place devs require that you pay full price whilst also offering no refund policies on said purchases. This whole situation has to be taking the word not allowed lol, you name is "Matchstick" for goodness sake, the person who liked your post is "Stonedoor" (How obvious can you get). You seem to be brazenly ignoring the entire basis of what renting stipulates. You're literally acting your namesake and making inflamatory comments. I'll give it to you, I got a good laugh with how well setup this all is, I wonder how many alts you have. I said before I wouldn't comment but I'm definetely stopping now, that was a good one. LOl, I admit it is fun watching you get desperate and trying to make some out of user names ? Are you suggesting we're the same people ? I so I give any mods absolute permission to check the IP address my posts comes to confirm we're not sock puppets ? As for refunds - I'm genuinely curious to know if CSS offered full refunds to people who paid full price when the initial release was terrible ? And as fvor renting, high end flight sim models tend to be used for years so if you rent this one at then at the end of your rental period you have absolutely nothing to show for that money and you either rent again and throw more money down the drain or pay full price. As I said in an earlier post, something as simple as saying if you rent for 3 years you get the product would be a start - you'd still be paying $42 more but you would have something.

Yeah I agree with you, never denied the problems during the first month's release. If it was simply about the money then we wouldn't have seen any subsequent bugfixes, updates and active support in the discord. Did you also miss the part when I pointed this out? I get wanting to vent about a terrible release and you're within your means to do so but atleast try and be objective, there's plenty other examples from devs when it was strictly about the money. Especially considering unlike other devs we here have the option to essentially trial the aircraft and assess it's state before dropping full price on it, how many other devs offer this may I ask? If it wasn't a money grab they would have provided a months credit. Not a lousy 7 days for a product you couldn't use for 3 weeks. I for one won't be returning as a customer anytime soon if at all. August 3, 2025Aug 3 I'll take a look when the 300 is released, that's the one I'm most interested in. Early adopters of anything set themselves up for problems. Edited August 3, 2025Aug 3 by desbean
August 4, 2025Aug 4 I would certainly be willing to pay $5.00 for a month to try out any addon I am interested in purchasing to see if I actually like it or not. That would have saved me tons of money through my years of simming, as I have purchased many addons that just weren't what I expected. I'd rather lose $5.00 for an addon that I end up liking and paying full price for it on top of the $5.00, than spending $30 - $100 on an addon only to find out it is not what I expected. Even with researchiing a product and watching reviews on it doesn't guarantee that I'm going to like it. I wish more developers would do this, not just in the marketplace. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
August 8, 2025Aug 8 News, pics are on the link https://css.aero/post/news080825 CSS News - August 8, 2025 Welcome to another edition of the CSS Weekly Blog where we keep you up to date with our latest developments. We have lots of work going on behind the scenes and we're excited to share some in-development previews with you today. Modeling As mentioned earlier, work on the CSS 737-400 external model is progressing nicely. The model is being remade from the ground up, addressing community feedback on the 737-500 model. Most recently, the Vertical Stabilizer has seen some love with a more accurate shape, more details, such as a modeled rudder gap seal, and better texture mapping. You can see the difference between the current and the new vertical stabilizer models yourself in the screenshots. On the interior side of things, we're modeling a new yoke using photogrammetry, which again allows for an extremely true-to-life model. We're experimenting with photogrammetry in other areas of the cockpit as well, and in the future we hope to show you some more of it. Do mind that the Yoke screenshots are WIP previews, and the textures are yet to be worked on. Systems Systems-wise, with the latest update we've been met with a bug where N1 Limits wouldn't switch properly. We're happy to say that it has been fixed, and will be featured in the next update, which, if all goes well, will go live over this weekend. We've also been focusing on tuning the engine parameters, ensuring the engines behave more closely to FCOM data and Real Life. This includes changes to the N2 and Fuel Flow values, as well as idle thrust adjustments. As in Real Life, the airplane will now roll at idle thrust at weights up to around 50t. We'd like to thank you all for the huge amount of feedback we've recieved following the latest update. We are committed to improving our product day by day, and we're thankful for your support and appreciate you being on this journey with us! Edited August 8, 2025Aug 8 by MPL Mikael Leinonen

Yeah I'm very confused by the reaction, but I think it's just contrarianism or in some cases anti-Russian bias. It's a really simple calculation - how many airplanes have I bought that either didn't work or weren't what they seemed? AirSimmer - $100 SkySimulations DC-9 - $50 BeyondATC - $70 and these are just the ones that immediately pop to mind. It's well over $1000 that I've burned for this hobby for things that, had I gotten a $5 month to evaluate, I would never have pulled the trigger on.

They said they hired a third party sound developer to recreate the sounds and progressing nicely. They’ll announce the devs and are “about to implement the new sounds”. also it’s not Boris. I’m interested to hear what they have in the works.

September 2, 2025Sep 2 This product and the whole company are dead on arrival. You can't just come out of nowhere and ask 120 dollars for an aircraft that's way below average in regards to systems, visuals and sounds. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
