Is it just me, or does part of the loading music for MSFS2024 remind anyone else of the 1982 hit "Mad World' (specifically the verse) by Tears For Fears? 🙂

Hold my beer...  I'm going to start a thread on who the default MSFS avatars look like.

The default female with the cap does actually look like my wife, but if I had a plane she wouldn't get the chance to sit in the co-pilots seat - she is already a bad enough back seat driver in the car!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Seems like "Everybody Wants to Rule the World".

Pete Locascio

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Nvidia RTX 5090, Samsung 9100 Pro 2&4 TB Drives, 64 GB RAM, Asus Z-890 motherboard.

For me it sounds more like Madona's "Like a Virgin" ...

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I've just listened to both, and I think it's you!  🤣 😉

My avatar in MSFS2024 reminds me of one of those American televangelists, like Kenneth Copland. No wonder I get to own so many fabulously expensive aircraft.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I love them all. This one especially sounds like a Spielberg/John Williams intro -

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

Well...it does now.

9950X3D, PNY 5090, 64GB DDR5 6000, MSI X870-P, GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 2TB NVMe, 3440x1440 AW3423DW gsync ultimate.

Isn't Musak the very first thing you turn off in any new game? Can't be just me, can it?

EDIT: And only one ? is necessary

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

It reminds me of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. "Mine eyes have seen the glory of Asobo and the Cloud"!

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I once had a couple of pints and a game of darts with Rick Wakeman. We're not friends now, however.

The ball landing in golf game PGA Tour 486 (it's that old) has the same beat as Vienna, by Ultravox!
