December 3, 2025Dec 3 Why are you waiting it so much? Are all the moaners sitting on SU3 still? Edited December 3, 2025Dec 3 by Vitold69

December 3, 2025Dec 3 up to 50 totally stutter free, smoothest ever "honest, non multi-frame generated" non-fake 🤣 fps in VR on a Pimax Crystal. I have never ever seen that before SU4 beta in any other simulator in VR at such high resolution. 110 fps in 2D is a piece of cake. 😀 Edited December 3, 2025Dec 3 by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

I put my monitor at 70fps, frame cap in the sim at 70 (frame gen), autofps at 68 and everything is kept tidy. Thats with batc traffic, gsx, fsrealistic, activesky, raas....never thought this would happen. VR is a whole different world. You do know the 2020 version works flawlessly in 2024? Per the developer and dozens of SU4 Beta users. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies, -B

I also want to avoid the mad rush and would like to see if there are any unforeseen bugs that pop up. Is just a service update. Will be no rush and waiting a week won't make any difference whatsoever. Pete Richards I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988. December 3, 2025Dec 3 Just the night lighting alone makes SU4 worth it. I went back to SU3 and my eyes. Wow. Just all the glowing fields and weirdness. I can't believe anyone tolerated that for so long. I could never fly at night again and look at all the sepia.
