December 4, 2025Dec 4 I tried Smooth Motion a while ago. FSR3 has been the game changer for me. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

It seems to turn off whenever a new version of the app downloads itself. So much better than DLSS frame generation. More fps, less stutters, especially when arriving near or at the airport. How do you turn on Smooth Motion ? In which app ? Thanks ! 🙂 - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

December 4, 2025Dec 4 Unless I'm mistaken, Smooth Motion is for games that don't support DLSS Frame Generation. So it's not really relevant for MSFS 2024. December 4, 2025Dec 4 It can be used instead of but as I said already, FSR3 yields much better results, for me. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

With my new setup, I've kept TAA and image generation disabled. I'll try it. By the way, why is the "smooth motion" option available in the Nvidia application but not in the MSFS 2024 graphics settings? In which aspect? You basically loose multi frame generation like this, no? Did you once try MFG set at 4x and limit FPS to 25?
