December 6, 2025Dec 6 Fantastic news! I will definitely get the 2024 Comanche, but I personally much prefer the separate tablet, that we have at present with the Comanche, versus the A2A tablet that is built into the MSFS EFB that we have in the Aerostar. The A2A tablet pages are smaller and apparantly lower resolution when integrated into the MSFS EFB, compared to when presented in the (larger) A2A tablet. Not a showstopper though! Very pleased the GPSS module is coming! At last, the dastardly STEC-30 will become a little more functional! 😄 Great news about the Aerostar too. If they really have fixed the audio problems in external view this may greatly change my view of that model. December 6, 2025Dec 6 Sounds like a GREAT update for the Comanche. Happy to throw a few shekels to A2A in exchange.

December 7, 2025Dec 7 As we're on the subject, $14.99 is £11.23, which will buy me either an A2A Comanche update, or 2.5 pints in the Warwick Arms in Norwich this evening. I think I can stretch to both. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

I think I can stretch to both. For me, it is more the principle than the cost. If people are doing significantly extra work, then like you, I don't mind paying a reasonable fee for it, but I do wonder how they justify the cost when the plane is perfectly flyable in 24 already. Customer Support when moving from 20 to 24 seems to be a lot better with say, Just Flight, doesn't it, and not just because they don't charge for the 'upgrade' fee. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
