I can barely wait for 2026

Not a very substantial post, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. 🎄

I don't think I've ever been as excited for a new year in flight sim ever. There is so much good stuff close to release that it's difficult to keep track of... like the Aerosoft A340-600, JustFlight Fokker 70/100, and the FSL/Fenix NEOs. Scenery-wise we're looking at major hubs like ATL (Orbx) and DFW (Ini) and also some smaller quality airports (Aerosoft Stuttgart, although this one is personal). Feel free to add to the list! Maybe there will be some other surprises, too. I feel like the biggest challenge will be to make judicious use of it all.

  • BlueBird Simulations' Boeing 757 should be nice too.

  • Gosh I hope we get the majestic q400. At this point I’m wondering if it’s even coming. Their forum is dead and they are not responding to messages.

  • My highlight next year will be PMDG's 747s. Especially the classics.

Don't you mean Just Flight's Fokker 70/100 - because I'm looking forward to that too. Ditto with the Aerosoft A340-600. Also looking forward to the imminent ( allegedly) SWS native FS24 Kodiak 100, and anything that's done to the GKS F-111. Beyond that, who knows, but I agree with you - 2026 is going to be quite a year!

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

The JustFlight Fokker 70/100 package is on my interested list. I have always liked that aircraft, and I think that it may just be automated enough even for a n00b like me  As for airports, I am looking forward to MK Studios EKVG Vagar v2 and Pyreegue LEPA Palma de Mallorca.

He did say JustFlight Fokker 70/100?

Anyway, Merry Christmas! I think SU4 has the platform set for some great addons this year 🙂

I corrected it, got mixed up indeed.

Very true, the stage is set since SU4...

BlueBird Simulations' Boeing 757 should be nice too.

It's been edited - initially it was Flight1's Fokker 70/100.

Looking forward to the following in 2026:

Taog’s AS365 Dauphin

Taog’s SH-3 Sea King

Helix Collective’s Ka-27 and Ka-32

Miltech and Project Stratosphere’s Bo 105

OctopusG’s Yak Ut-1 and Po-2

GKS’s version 2 of the MiG-21

Flying Fries’ Mi-24P Hind

Gosh I hope we get the majestic q400. At this point I’m wondering if it’s even coming. Their forum is dead and they are not responding to messages.

Surprised no one has mentioned the FSReborn Phenom 300 yet.  If this is as good as I hope it will be, I might finally talk myself into buying my first jet!

(Well... sorta  my first.  I did buy the Flight1 Citation Mustang for FSX way back in the mists of time and it and I never saw eye-to-eye.  I might have put an hour or two on it.  Maybe.  Maybe not.)

I am looking forward to SU5 to resolve a few issues for sure.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
