Just remove your spirit and PLAY paints in the folders....problem solved

Exactly. As soon as Spirit became defunct I simply uninstalled the AIG package for it.

I think FSHud is the better option if you are just wanting it for traffic injection

I would agree on most points, but FSHud has one huge disadvantage for me: they still did not implement pushback (or jetway connection). BATC has pushback of AI planes and it is 100x more immersive on an airport. Those 180° turns right at the gate insta-kill the immersion when using FSHud.

As stated on our website:

"Over 1 million+ historical flights globally, ensuring a worldwide coverage, and gate-accurate airlines for every airport."

Thanks for clarifying, learnt something new today!

As a rule of thumb on average it takes about 2-3 weeks until features are moved from Experimental to Public.

Thanks Farlis. It just seems like it's taking a lot longer.

I don't want to pay $30 for it to be released next week.

I'm also not having as much fun with the latest version. I'm praying that they get this right, because when BATC works, it's a gratifying experience.

This new feature is also making me consider a Navigraph sub, something I never wanted to do.

The one thing that I felt could use improvement was the voice quality. Have they improved?

I wanted to try it, but they do not offer a trail.

Everyone has different tastes and expectations, however, I actually prefer FSHud voices over the BATC local voices (I don't use the premium). You can also adjust the tempo of the speech. I set mine to 120% which results in a more realistic speech tempo based on what I hear on live atc. I can't say how much the voices have improved as I only acquired FSHud about 2 weeks ago. It certainly has room for improvement in some areas, but, on balance, I currently prefer it to BATC. On my last flight with BATC, the ATC stopped talking near the end of my arrival into CYVR. At least it still kept talking to all of the AI traffic lol. It is very frustrating when a flight ends like that.
