I have noticed a lot of on line hype for this release.

Is it particularly special or just experiencing a concerted effort from JF & on line influencers to push it?

Personally, I don't think so. Just Flight doesn't need to operate that way - their stellar reputation speaks for itself, and that is reflected online. Any new release from them is eagerly anticipated by the community - a bit like A2A, PMDG, Burning Blue and Flying Iron.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I am thinking about getting this for myself as a 59th birthday present at the end of next month, so hopefully any "issues" will have been resolved by then 🙂

Just Flight... their stellar reputation...

Please do correct if I am wrong but Just Flight became more popular since MSFS.

In the days of FSX/P3D, they were serious but not exceptional.

Even today, for me they have good products but nothing stellar or ground breaking, no game changer.

Except of course for products such as Black Square's one for which they are publisher.

Depends on your definition I guess.

PA 28 very good when it came out

BA 146 amazing

RJ Even better

F28 Very good aircraft

All of them stellar in my opinion. Up there with the other major suppliers. My opinion of course.

I bought the F70 only and had no issues with installation, but I used the actual key code in the installer and EFB (rather than the 'JFL' order number) as that's how all other JF native products have worked 👍

I'm very happy with the F70 - it's a lot of fun and very immersive. But as someone whose heart isn't really in airliners any more, it's enough for me and I wouldn't buy the F100, just for the additional variant.

The only JF products I had prior to MSFS were their Canberra PR9 and Vulcan for P3D, both of which were first class. With the exception of the F28, I've bought everything they've produced for MSFS, and given the quality, the responsiveness on the support forum, the regular updates and improvements, plus the free upgrades to MSFS2024, I'd say their reputation is stellar.

As for the aircraft themselves, few developers suddenly produce something ground-breaking or game-changing. It is usually a case of further development, innovation, and building upon what's gone before, then perfecting it. There are other, more common criteria, such as accuracy, attention to detail, flight models, textures, overall quality and value for money; and in these, Just Flight maintain a consistently high level.

Has anyone noticed the FMC says F28 on the initial page. Not sure if that’s intentional or not?!

A330 Driver made the following comment during his mini review video that he just released:

It is rather difficult to maintain a certain approach speed with the airplane in landing configuration and you easily get speed deviations of +/- 10 knots which have a huge effect on the flight model which makes it rather hard to control the airplane precisely and maintain a precise glide slope.

He said he is sure the development team will handle this issue and fix it.

I just landed after a 90 minute flight, and had no trouble at all maintaining speed on approach, but I'd disconnected the AP and AT. Was he using the automatics on final ?

Where I had trouble - the a/c couldn't even think about reaching the cruise altitude Simbrief had planned - and she tried really hard to drive herself into a stall. Was using the F100 with 90 odd passengers onboard. We were much happier around FL260. I'd suspect that says more about the Simbrief perf calculations than the a/c itself.

So it was a more sporty flight than I'd expected, but overall I really enjoyed it. And if there are flight model issues, I'm certain, based upon their past experience, JF will address it quickly.

I'm a very happy customer!

Flying the F70 currently (KHIO-KLAS). I couldn’t be more pleased with the systems and performance. A good invest, but since it’s JustFlight that’s been my experience for years now. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

I believe it is.

The official designations are F28 Mark 0070 for the Fokker 70 and F28 Mark 0100 for the Fokker 100.

I don’t know, but it may be intentional as Fokker’s official designation for it was F28 MK100.

I read that recently somewhere.

( no it wasn’t in the post above which was posted simultaneously 😂)

My mileage doesn't vary at all - I agree, it's a beauty.
