I flick the button sideways and the view changes. I flick it again the view changes back. After those changes there is nothing wrong with the view immediately afterwards. I never use the keyboard to change views because keyboards are not ergonomic. This post decribes it perfectly with videos from 2020 and 2024/SU6 when you can clearly see the terrain loading in, this does seem to be improved from SU5.1 where the cockpit also loads in after the view has changed (Bug introduced in SU4) but that's only one aircraft shown. Seems that particular topic with terrain loading and other LODs "popping" into view is finally gaining traction and getting noticed by Community Mods at least.https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/su6-scenery-level-of-detail-survey/ Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
Saturday at 04:26 PM4 days When msfs2024 was first released, scenery ahead of you coming closer as you flew would pop into your view as you flew along. That issue has been cured by Asobo with memory optimizations. It was much worse than the videos above. I may still have the issue in the video above. I just never noticed it because it didn't matter enough to catch my attention. I always use Ultra for the setting to preload scenery not currently in view. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Yesterday at 09:49 AM1 day managed to do a very successful flight this morning into LGKO/KOS. The new turb effects on finals were brillant, I had problems getting it down on the deck. (but then im not a very good pilot) But the new turb update twined with with Real Turb v2 - https://secure.simmarket.com/m.-a.-realturb-realturb-cat-areas-global-v2-msfs.phtml it was a real challenge. looks promising.

In that mode the scenery popping is super apparent. No one with a high end PC should be running that. It's basically for people with potato PCs hehe. 4 hours ago4 hr I did notice the Alps looking like a pea soup of green and grey today, sort of FS98 level of texture.I cranked up my Rex Atmos to hide it away and focused on the gorgeous foreground scenery. Ah the joys of flying in perpetual Indian smog :D Edited 4 hours ago4 hr by Langeveldt
