I uninstalled the I fly, deleted the WASM folder rebooted computer, then reinstalled I fly, updated nav data. Started FS and loaded the Max. let it rebuild the wasm folder while spawning at airport. After it loaded, I exited back to main menu. Then reloaded the Max. Loaded simbrief flight plan at LAX and flew to New Orleans with no issues or freezes. Had all my addons running in the background. Did another flight from SEA to ANC, no freezes no issues.

Have you noticed that the sounds from the buttons, switches, GPWS, and other alerts are missing? I noticed it here, and others have mentioned it as well.

It's not an immersion breaker, but I was worried there might be other issues besides the sounds.

Probably related to VRAM management. I don't see the issue often, and the times I do it's when switching from internal to external views and back, and I usually only do this at altitude when VRAM requirements are at their lowest. I also use the in-sim dynamic settings and only purchase native 2024 airports and aircraft. I would guess using addons not optimized for 2024 would just make this problem worse.

For me the blurry gauges clear up within a second, so it doesn't bother me when I do notice it, but I could see it being annoying if it happened more often and took longer to clear up.

You may be correct. I don't remember hearing the rwy awareness call outs or the thump sound when bringing the main inverters online and disengaging the APU. I'll take notice on my next flight.

No not here. Just installed SU6b and did a flight LSGG EGPE in the Fenix A320. All call outs working fine as well as switch sounds. Seems smoother and looks really nice - especially coming in over the Cairngorms, beautiful.

I was specifically referring to the Ifly 737 MAX. Fenix is okay as far as I've seen.

I decided to try flying the iFly 737 MAX on the SU6 beta from SXM. Three times I tried loading the aircraft from the gate and the simulator froze during loading. On the fourth try, I decided to load the aircraft from the runway. The aircraft loaded, but froze again soon after.

This is strange, because I had done a test flight from a small airport and it loaded without problems. Now, when I tried to do a full flight, this problem appeared.

I think it's safe to say that the iFly 737 MAX is not compatible with SU6 beta, although some manage to fly with the bugs. And judging by iFly's wording, limiting themselves to saying betas are not supported, don't expect a fix anytime soon.

I’ve decided to stop flying this marvelous SP1 738 MAX, maybe we’ll get a decent service pack in two or three years (my 738m had problems in SU5.1 too). In the meantime, there are plenty of other airliners to satisfy our masochistic instincts (but I like this new SU6 beta).

LOD draw distances regressed.

This beta is as smooth as butter for me, but something is definitely amiss on my install around the S43 Harvey Field area as you fly towards it from KPAE.

The ground terrain is flashing and portions of it are turning into what can only be described as earth colored rainbows that come and go.

Very strange - this is with or without Orbx’s S43 pack and a pretty empty community folder and photogrammetry on.

I’m not seeing this anywhere else.

Anyone else see this? (It’s a very nice short flight and scenic area if interested).

Like what the heck are they doing?

They don't seem to care about The most demanding fixes and features.

I guess it depends on the degree of work the iFly team consider acceptable in providing a fix. They have made themselves pretty clear not to expect any and I can see why.

Not here. I have the PC version. Have seen no reduction in LOD distance whatsoever - neither for clouds nor terrain.

It may be network bandwidth related for those who have the issue.

I've checked and see nothing of the sort. There's still a ton of the usual transparent nonsense but not the pre SU3 clouds on the horizon.

Not mentioned in the patch notes, but the terrain radar is fixed on the A320Neo, will have to check the other default Airbuses.

Edit: Checked them all, it works on all now, including the A400
