  1. Past hour
  2. In terms of stutters - I suggest you to share a short movie of this happening. At least we will have some idea how it looks and what it is and might be there will be a way to go forward with it. Thank you
  3. The interconnect's effect is only present when the pedals or yoke are off-center. Apparently, pedals and yoke at zero means interconnect gain is at zero as well. Its gain is 100% at slow speeds and decreases as a function of dynamic pressure. Off the top of my head, it is about 6% in the 100-150 range and hardly there at higher speeds. Regarding the rudder and yaw damper being ineffective: The rudder is ineffective like this in reality also. We have data points and verified it using the pilots. That's just how it is. The Yaw Damper in the PC-12 is limited in effectiveness because MSFS will disconnect the autopilot if the controls move past a certain threshold. Therefore, it as effective as it can get without artificially increasing the aircraft's stability. I'd like to know what aircraft model has an effective, non-custom yaw damper because it has been non-functional since FS2002 -if not earlier. I'll take any plane from FS98 until today, please.
  4. Correct. The name "preset" comes from the fact that technically it's injected into MSFS as a preset, albeit a dynamically changing one (through updates and transitions).
  5. Already answered in the ticket to check MSFS settings in user guide: https://www.fshud.com/#/site/manuals/user-guide
  6. Sorry, but I have no idea what would cause this. There are at least a dozen options, not taking into accout that what you do with the dials is relvant too (and can cause hold-upds and general trouble in the sim). On a side note, it is IMO not a good idea to run several tools at the same time that do essentially the same thing (AAO, SPAD, FSUIPC, Mobiflight). You can of course do as you wish, but AAO does not officially support any of these combos (as they can be unpredictable and gut feeling says that they spell trouble. As demonstrated by Mobiflight, when all MIDI devices stopped working in AAO).
  7. Brilliant thanks that was the info I was after! Yes, I'm well experienced with the infamous 'assign twice to release' bug!
  8. Dial Stacks are not a feature of the AAO plugin, they are a feature of the StreamDeck Software. That is the manual you have to look into. The AAO plugin does not contain any special code or methods for stacked actions. That is why they are not in the manual (which is primarily for the authors of StreamDeck profiles, as detailed in the other thread.
  9. I have no idea, just that AMD themselves and all the videos I've seen recommend it, this instruction is for Ryzen 9 but applies to all X3D as far as I understand. https://community.amd.com/t5/gaming/how-to-set-up-your-system-with-a-new-amd-ryzen-9-7950x3d-or/ba-p/589464
  10. You think all that happened magically 3.5 years later? You clearly just watched a bunch of drama YouTube videos and ran with it. Bet you haven't actually even played the game. Your comparison was absolutely awful and makes no sense.
  11. Howdy airplane friends. No extra LC or Mesh. Downloaded OLC twice from Orbx app, synched twice from same app. Scenery config editor shows no error. Redid the flight, same issue.
  12. I don't have Active Sky -- yet. In reading here and the previous thread (now locked) I see posts referring to three Active Sky modes, Preset mode, Active mode, and Passive mode. My understanding is Passive mode is when you are using live MSFS weather, and Active Sky is "only" providing air effects such as turbulence, wind drafts, etc. My sense is Active mode and Preset mode are really the same thing. Correct? My understanding here is this is when Active Sky provides live or historical weather, where you can adjust the transition times between locations with METAR reports, etc. You can also customize the weather with the myriad of "controls" that Active Sky provides. I think it is this ability to adjust all these controls is where the term Preset come from, but I personally find this confusing and misleading since MSFS also has options for types of Preset weather when live weather is not used (you can select rain, or overcast, or clear, etc) I think it would be better if Active Sky used a different term, something like Managed mode or Customized mode perhaps, because the Preset weather in MSFS is not like the Preset weather in Active Sky. To me, Preset weather implies unchanging (set) weather, which of course doesn't fit the Active Sky situation. Just my $0.02. Corrections to any misconceptions above welcomed. Al
  13. Anyone try the new 'Enable surface wind attenuation cancelation' feature in beta 8881? Any thoughts?
  14. You can. Just not over the website. And please - nowhere in the GDPR is stated that you have to able to do it over a portal or so. Please don´t spread false information. And I know the guys of SI, they are absolutely customer orientated - open a ticket and I guarantee that you will receive a very good solution.
  15. I just want to report that FSHud does nothing with my fps, with the obvious exception when injecting traffic - this is basically the same fps drop i face when I use FSLTL without FSHud (90-5 fps or so).
  16. Well haven't received anything yet,I'll be patiently waiting......Chris said in the email that he was to deliver the throttles first as he already has some parts. The site is back on track and taking orders, so it seems he's slowly getting out of the clouds.... That's very good news for all of us.....
  17. Never seen the point of doing this and never done it.
  18. Anyone have a method to match the sim weather with pilot2atc if we fly in a custom weather/time?
  19. Today
  20. So I tested again, and I'm still getting awful stutters starting sometime close to TOD. Tried the performance balance feature, but while FPS were stable at the threshold I set, the stutters persisted and I had to close FSHud because it was hardly enjoyable this way. This confirms it's a deeper issue as I suspected, regardless of the balancer feature. Since the separation update this has been unusable for me which is unfortunate because I like FSHud. It completely locks down my CPU for whatever reason all of a sudden. I also started encountering a weird issue where FSHud at some point suddenly starts switching the frequency set in the aircraft radio to a random, wrong one, resulting in transmissions getting cut short instantly. It then switches back to the correct frequency, the transmission starts again, but gets instantly cut out again because the frequency was changed again. The squawk also keeps getting changed. Turning off the auto comm and auto squawk features didn't help. This keeps going in an endless loop like "Un - United - Un - United 13 - Un - U - Uni..." This is in the PMDG 737. Anyone else seen this?
  21. Many of the old ways to bypass using a MS account and use a local account instead have been blocked by Microsoft in the new 24H2, and updates to 23H2 versions of Win 11. The above video claims there is a way to still set Windows up locally.
